  1. This is true he leads by example but that it leadership in itself. When you see your peers, specially ones that have had success in the league as all stars like SAP, you might wanna follow his leader, agree though vocally he isn’t the mouth that’s for sure, and some actually respond to that better, I dunno. Not necessarily. I think a vet of 5 years could give you the leadership/advice of a 10 year vet, I think it depends on the individual player’s style in terms of leadership and the maturity of the player as well. Like I’d take Malcolm Brogdon as a vet over Lance Stephenson even though the former has less years of service in the league, well you get it. Nothing against Lance and his blowing in opponent's ears or anything either I’m just saying. Yup this. I’m not the one to convince you of that. I think Melo is the most overrated star player the league has ever seen to date. Stilts himself? He’s too choppy in the post at this point, not loving his midrange shot as he ages a ton either. We could do worse, I heard he was a lock to the scrubs? No?
  2. He’s good, better than Sap at this stage in the floor for sure, I want Sap for leadership and to keep the young fellas on their toes.
  3. Seriously mods can we have 2 more emoji reactions added? A love and an anger … Yes!!!!
  4. That’s exciting! The format of your post got me HYPHY BURD LETS GOOOOO!!!! Look at that beautiful roster!
  5. Ok so it was faster than a day or two As soon as Burd asked when they leave they were on it!
  6. I roll with PS4. I’m gonna play it till they stop making games for it and that’s when I retire. Ya I might play a few games here and there for charity events but I’m hangin up my controller . It’s been a hell of a ride, from some stick wall tennis game on Atari, to hunting innocent ducks on Sega master system at the age of 10 no less, and then began the immaculate NBA career, my fav, NBA live 93 and 95. (Long live my custom team that included Kemp, Glen Rice, Smitty and others). Allen Iverson brought it the 2K’s and I was hooked from the start. 22 years later, I think it might be time for the next stage of my career. The game’s been good to me. We’ve come a long way from the likes of double dribble (Nintendo almost got me with that one game btw but I stayed a Sega guy) to 2K23 and beyond! Spud’s career: 1982- 2022 (December; but possibly till June, NBA finals; technically 2023).
  7. Detlef Lenny and Kemp watching ball in Seattle!
  8. Wow, just saw the updated poll after I voted 🗳… looks like I agree with the majority of folks. I’m with the smart folks! jk you all smart!
  9. I have our bench being as the 9-12th strongest heading into the 2022-23 season. Looked at the depth of benches around the league. BENCHES BETTER THAN OURS: Celtics Sixers Heat Clipps Nuggs Suns Pels Kings IN THE SAME BOAT (hence the 9-12 ranking): Cavs: Love, Levert, Cedi, Neto, RoLopez Bulls: Drummond, Dragic, Caruso, J Green Wolves: Prince, SLO MO, NAZ, MCLAUGHLIN I think we finish as the 9-12 most productive bench in the league. For the sake of the 🗳 poll I won’t play homer and put 2 of the teams in front of us and take the 11th slot for Trae aka #11). Spuderator (not quite the Dieselputter @Dieselbut we try)…. THE ATLANTA HAWKS WILL HAVE THE…. 11TH BEST DEFENSE IN THE LEAGUE. (I’ll go submit the 11-15 vote 🗳)
  10. Not sure I’d take him. I like 2 x Hawks Sap and Tony Snell also.
  11. I’m sorry if we dumped Hark, no matter how mediocre he was, I’m looking for an upgrade in the vet department from the colonel in one way or another. Nothing against the young Detlef kid but we are in need of one or two more vet bench guys. Just my wish.
  12. Indeed. I boycotted the conference finals, but don’t remember him doing anything in round 1 either.
  13. ATLANTA BRAVESSSSSS COUNTRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! AREEEEEE YOUUUUUU REAAADDDYYYYYYYYY???????? LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! https://www.instagram.com/reel/CjI4_OGDgTY/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= .
  14. Surprised Bojan wants to stay a Piston. Interesting to see where Jae winds up. The dude is a difference maker it seems, he’s a better PJ Tucker type or at least the same level guy to me. He might shift the balance depending on where he goes, hopefully out west if not us.
  15. Murray be that alpha no doubt. When was the last time we had an alpha with a game? (Not counting Trae) JJ wasn’t a vocal alpha.. Deke wasn’t (except for that finger ) Nique.. see JJ, quiet on floor leader I don’t think I remember us having an all star like this. Horford wasn’t. Kyle barely spoke. Lol. Teague was quiet… Sap was quiet.
  16. Yessssssss!!!! Great fit! (green font; pun intended) Get it… green. As a Hawks fan, I like this a lot.
  17. Wait, so a young rebuilding team like the rockets plans to waive Jerome and have Favors stick? I mean, I get that you want some vets around but Favors isn’t gonna want to stay is he? Why stuff is Texas backwards.
  18. Nope but hopefully soon in the next day or two.
  19. And the waitresses who work Wednesday’s. https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/8be02e3a-b2c3-4e05-a03f-19c3027004a3
  20. That was quick… Almost like you been waiting… Anticipatin….
  21. Aholi is the birthday boy !!! A happy and a healthy!!!!
  22. Nearly 7 years sober in a few months. I just can’t go back, for me, it was a death sentence. But ya, Vegas is crazy when you are sober but watching drunk people is kinda funny too.
  23. YES! He’s a starter in a bench role uni! I guarantee he will over exceed expectations. If he lays a dud I’ll voluntarily change my avatar to a curry family photo!
