Trae young takes triple the amount of 3’s per game that jc does so that comparison doesn’t really hold much weight. As for Fultz he wasn’t know to be a shooter coming out of college. He was viewed as an all around big pg. Totally different prospect than Trae. Again I don’t want to come off as hating jc because he seems like a really good kid. I just don’t see the fit long term unless he makes the necessary progress Some of you are anticipating. i just don’t see. I hope he proves me wrong though. I really do.

Trae was/is a known shooter. it was one of his elite skills along with his vision coming out of college.

For 1 year, his previous 2 seasons he shot under 35%. So let’s see if he can sustain this. Now again I hope he does because it can change the total completion of our team going forward. but we shall see.

If we aren’t trading Collins than that probably means our 2021 pick would have to be on the table and that would be an absolute hell no for me lol.

Spacing. i do not believe jc is a reliable enough 3 point shooter to spread the floor while he and Capela play together. gallo at the 4 would keep the floor spaced not only for Trae and cam but for Capela in the p&r.

That is true but I think lyod pierce and co could help him reach his full potential. Edwards,Trae and cam would truly be special man.

Listen I don’t hate jc I think he is a good /borderline all star player. I just don’t think he can be a true #2 on a playoff/contending team and with the acquisition of Capela I don’t think it would make much sense to commit some much of our capspace between those two. I think we can acquire a true #2 or someone who has the potential to be one if we were to put jc on the block(not sure if Travis and co will or have) I just don’t feel comfortable committing so much of our capspace to 2 big men especially in today’s nba. its why I never was a fan of the Capela trade in the first place. In the modern nba jc’s position is the 5. With Capela here I don’t believe jc will be able to reach his true potential.

I’m probably going to get killed fo this but I’d try and trade jc to Golden state for the #2 pick and take Edwards. trae-Edwards-Cam-?-Capela that would be my dream scenario if we are being honest.

Honestly Im not really high on jc(I don’t want to give him the max in his upcoming extension) so how he feels really doesn’t matter to me, but I did not know that Trae feels that way about him which I agree would make me weary of dealing dedmond.You’re right we can just take him into capspace but as low has lonzos value is right now I still think the pelicans would want to get at least something back for him. Their not just going to trade him for nothing. 2.I’d try and bring back Len. I loved him when he was here. 3. i totally agree about 3years 75mil being to much for gallo but outside of the the playoffs he had a very good year and him being 32 this is his last chance to cash out so i don’t think he’d take anything less. Their will be other suitors willing to pay him much more in money and years(nyk,Heat). I’d prefer to go after bertans but if you think 3 years 75mil is to much for gallo bertans will command way more than that. With Travis and co having an eye on Giannis and the 2021 fa class I believe we have no shot to come close to what bertans would/will command.

- for Lonzo I’d try and offer dedmon and a future 2nd or 1st. Lonzo’s value is at an all time low so I think that would be a good offer. - as for gallo I’d offer him a 3year 75mil dollar deal but knowing we want to be in the Giannis sweepstakes and every penny will count I can see Travis and co offering him a 1year max deal.

I would love to pry Christian wood away from Detroit but I doubt it’s possible .I’m Not very high on fvv I would stay away from him. Other vets I hope we look at are Justin Holiday,Marco Belinelli, and Jae crowder. -my ideal roster would be: pg.trae/Lonzo-sg.Cam/Kevin H-sf.gallo/hunter-PF.JC/hunter-C.Capela/JC That’s a playoff team imo. Especially if cam makes the leap I think he will.

Totally agree. Theirs no way he can play against nba level competition right now. if anything I can see him getting minutes in the g-league.

If they’re going to try and force feed mcgee against tucker they’ve already lost. That’s a recipe for disaster. i do agree with playing Ad at center and to your point about putting LeBron on the block is exactly what I think they should do also. Especially with LeBron’s declining athleticism he needs to be playing more out of the post. It will open up a lot of options for them offensively.
