  1. Dang right.....Nice win! Go HAWKS
  2. We've been closing out the 4th quarter alot better this year!
  3. Sorry, you might be alone on this one. I don't think it got worse than when we mustered 13 wins out of 82 tries some years back.... If hearing Bob and Nique talk about our #1 ranking on a power poll is embarressing, I'm glad to have that problem!
  4. My low point was that horrific 2004 season with 13 wins. It made me sick to my freaking stomach............ How do you amass 13 wins in 82 games?!!?!?! I still love the birds though...........GoHAWKS
  5. I expect the Hawks to improve on their win total, playoff seeding and playoff round appearance. 48+, 3rd and ECF.
  6. Coach Woodson is a complete joke. Minus the fact that our record has improved every season since we won 13 games in 2004, this clown doesn't have a job.
  7. We did drop 3 games in 4 tries against Cleveland, but a couple of those losses were not by a wide margin. Coming into this series, I don't feel were as over-matched as much as I felt we were in 2008 against the Boston Celtics. If we can find a way to beat a team (that won nearly 40 games at home) in Cleveland once, I think we can steal this series.
  8. I'd like to say you've got a legitimate reason to be concerned.
  9. I respect your optimism, but I think as Hawks fans, we should brace for and expect the unexpected. I didn't expect to play seven games in last year's postseason and I didn't expect to see and-1 three-pointers on back-to-back plays. I really do believe this team is capable of doing anything; this includes dominating Miami (again) and dropping a game seven at home.
  10. Smith is a hot-head that is incapable of turning his negative energy into any kind of positive. Once this guy gets rattled, the top falls off. Forget the fact that he cannot shoot, dribble, or pass; this guy cannot approach adversity positively or professionally at all. I've seen his temper-tantrums and after review I cannot seperate the look on his face from my four year old brother's. I really wished we could only use this guy on defense and fast-breaks (without the ball until he gets into the paint).
  11. Depressed, not surprised. We were not a good road team in the regular season and have yet to understand why doors need to be closed while they can be closed - in the NBA.
  12. Yip; just that simple and this series is a spitting example of just that. These offcials are altered by the crowd's noise, boos, and cheers. Not to mention the constant crying of Dwayne Whine. The boy is gauranteed to get a whistle with every and any love tap. If he doesn't, the maintaince crew on the floor will have a mess to clean up because he's going to cry a river....
  13. I'm not upset at all about Josh's between-the-legs attempt at a slam; I'm not upset with Stockton saying what he said either as I can see why both Smoove made the attempt and Stockton made the call. Up 20 or not, it's the playoffs where execution should be at a premium. Adding a little extra with that dunk while up 20 could also cause motivation for the Heat. Stockton has been broadcasting for too long and has broadcasted too many of our games (this includes all Atlanta teams) too be highlighted as a biased homer.
