Hinrich is backup 2. Smoove plays a lot at SF. I think we need rebounding and outside shooting.

Actually I agree, as long as he's not going to be a bad influence on the team with his possible history of drugs. I just couldn't resist the opportunity to be facetious.

Why wouldn't you get this guy? He shoots 100%! Seriously, these video clips that only show made shots and great plays are fun to watch but too misleading. I remember after watching Josh Powell's last year I thought he looked pretty good. Glad this guy has an MVP at least!

Agreed - it's not socialistic. Socialistic would mean everybody on the team gets the same salary regardless of performance. I think some objections are: somewhat discourages team play ("I want to be the #1 player" mentality, or # 2, etc) peer rating could be seen as unfair (rate your friends the highest). I would combine a peer rating with a mgt rating with a media rating (33% each). Also Lebron would make the same as Joe - wait, we already have something more extreme than that! Overall, great thinking but I think it's too radical for both sides to approve - especially the players.

Congratulations, Hawks! Sounds like you guys came out and were really playing ball. Great game! What happened during the comeback? Who was playing for the Hawks when the Nets made their run? Not much output for Teague. Hollinger says he is playing scared again (thanks to Drew).

Did Drew not play Teaugue last night because he felt Teague made him look bad? Was he upset that Teague hogged the ball a little, even though he tells him to be aggressive? If Drew didn't let Jamal play point and Hinrich / Teague split point guard time 32/16, how much would that help? Will Drew's preference of Crawford over Teague cost him his job, especially when he doesn't play Teague much in the playoffs? Did Drew go with only 7 players because he feels they need to play together and get more accustomer to each other?

This could also be calling out Josh, who continues to take more and more shots. Maybe Joe doesn't like that.

When Horford returns, I think this makes more sense (starters on left): PG - Teague and Hinrich split SG - Johnson and Crawford split SF - Wilkens and Williams split PF - Smith and Horford split C - Horford and Zaza/Collins split But this doesn't mean we always have to sub 2-3 people at a time always - might be better to stagger the subbing than put in a second unit ...

Do you really think Jery Sloan would come if we had new ownership that would pay him well? We would have to play defense then. I hear that Paul Hewitt will beavailable soon. :biggrin:

From a shooting standpoint Marvin has been struggling more than usual thelast few games. From those who have seen the games, what's the deal? It seems he is shooting more but making less. Rather than the usual 2 for 5 it's been more like 1 for 7. Glad to see him being more aggressive but would have expected a higher percentage. Is some of it due to playing more with Jamal (if that's the case) or is it something else? Thanks.

Just think how bad they would be with Teague as their point guard instead of Sessions (and with Williams hurt). It's one more position they would have to fix in order to crawl out of their hole. In other words, their deep hole gets even bigger.

I saw that Mo Williams is hurt and they may keep Sessions as a result. Just our luck, eh?
