Yea Damien played alot of point forward at UGA. He was such a great player. He came into NC Stae with alot of potential but only grew as a player when he came to UGA. We really missed out on a steal b/c he can really play 1-4 positions and is one of the truer point forwards in the NBA. This guy is only gonna get better. How can you pass up anyone with the same genes as Gerald and the Human highlight film?

Speaking of all the fuss about Dalembert and all the money he got look at what a steal BK got in ZaZa.

Marvin showed me what he could do and that is everything. His handles are as good as Joe Johnsons, he boards better than Al. Al is nowhere near as physical as a 4 should be he is a 3 with a average shot another advantage Marvin has. At 19 he is a more consistent shooter than Al. I say ship Al out and make way for the future. At 19 Marvin will have his up's and downs but I believe he is the future in ATL along with Joe and hopefully Smoove.

Al is our biggest liability. He takes to many jumpers and is weak on D. Without Josh Smith everyone would drive on the Hawks. Al isn't tough enough to be a 4 and dosnt shoot well enough to be a 3 he is simply a great 6th man reason why he never started in Indy.

People were dogging me out because I like the idea of getting Swift especially if we get no other big man. Swift can play great D and is a good rebounder. Most of the people on here think a all-star/mvp type is just gonna come to ATL because we have cap umm I don't think thats the case. You can't have a bunch of players who do the same [censored]. Josh Smith and Swift are roughly the same height but swift is definately stronger than Smoove. Swift can bang it down low and isn't nearly as soft as Al. So sign Swift cheap and let him grab bourds and D up at the 4/5. You say height blah blah BS 6'6 BS he can't play the 5. Umm isn't Ben Wallace like barely 6'8? Diffrence in these two guy's compared to other's. Both have some of the quickest up's in the league. Swift and Smoove would put so many highlights on ESPN plus I think adding a guy like Stro would give us some better chemistry.

I think Rashad should make the club because the kid is a "pure point". I've seen him really mature at UGA and he knows how to run a team and IIRC, had one of the higher Assist/To ratio for basically the last 3 years of his career.

While BK is playing around with Curry when knowing Chandler is the one we want when he will be matched anything we offer. So why not go and get a guy who would play for us and add a F/C which we neeed. Swift is a big time athlete for his size and teammed with Smoove,Chills,MWill this team could really get out and throw it down with the best of them. Also I like the idea of having two quick leapers like Swift and Smoove they both would block alot of shots and Swift is still just 25 he could blossom in A-Town. So why is BK waiting when he could be snatched up when he is probally our safest option.

A huge upgrade over what we have but definately not the answer. I would be happy to have him as long as he dosn't cost alot.

No to both of these guy's. Like everyone else I thought Arroyo was gonna turn the corner since he was so dominating for Puerto Rico over the summer but he didnt do anything in the NBA which is why Utah traded him and he didn't contribute too much in Detroit. The only C we need is Dalembert but we could use Stromile just as much. We need rebounding bad on this team and Theo dosn't do anything for us in that department.

For the haters on this board dissing Salim go watch some tapes of this kid ball. You think JJ Reddick can shoot because ESPN is all over Duke's nuts but Salim was by far the best shooter in college and he's already the best shooter the Hawks have by far. Anyone who wants to say well we'll see how he'll shoot the NBA 3 go look at tapes he was always drilling 3's NBA distance and more. His stroke is so sweet and he get's real good air on his shot it is really hard to defend this guy. He isn't a "pure" pg because he was never asked to run the team but he has alot of experience doing it though. His first three years he was the PG for Arizona he became the go to guy his Senior year and didnt dissapoint. BK got the steal of the draft at 31 this kid should've been a top 20 pick easy. You will be happy to have Salim as a Hawk he won't dissapoint he can hang with anybody in the NBA right now as far as shooting goes and that goes for Peja,Korver,Allen,etc. Salim is what we call a baller and it's as simple as that he just has skill.

Rod Smith- Just a great wr, may not have same nimbers with Ed back. 5.Torry Holt- Uses deception and great catcher. 6.Issac Bruce-Still one of the games best. 7. Joe Horn-Kind of underated but is a do everything guy or Saints. 8.David Boston- Is built like a ox and runs like a horse. 9. Jimmy Smith-Will make the big plays. 10. Tim Brown- Getting older but is still a top 10 wr. 11. Jerry Rice-Will he ever retire. Dosnt make the big plays anymore but will get you the first down and the td. 12. Keyshawn Johnson - Became a pssesion receiver. Needs a qb to get him the ball. 13 Chris Chambers- An emerging star 14.Darrel Jackson- Great year w/ seahawks. 15. Hines Ward- Is an underated receiver, is better than Plaxico and he needs more throws. Did I mention he was A UGA football player? Honarble mention[top 5] 1.Rod Gardner-Skins number 1 option. Is a star waiting to happen. 2.Derrick Mason- Had breakout year can he do it again? 3.Kevin Johnson-Great year with Browns, Couch is coming along. 4.Plaxico Burres 5.Troy Brown- Huge year with the suprise super bowl team. Is Brady real deal?

Curry dosn't seem to be that good. Smush Parker dominated inside, dunked on Curry in last nights summer league.

Now if you wanna compare them on the court then here goes: A.I. and Jt are both very quick[they may be the quickets in the game] A.I. and Jt are both good scorers[Jt is a better 3-point shooter] A.I. and Jt both have very good handles[A.I. is always trying to cross someone up and Jt isnt] I would say A.I. and Jt are very ssimilar..If Jt took as many shots as A.I. he would score 26-30 ppg. also.
