I would be too. Can't blame him.
Do you think acquiring Murray will change his mind?

So now I can talk a bit more freely...
In the insider only conversation I call your attention to this posted June 9th well before the draft and rumors about Murray:

Reached out after my last post. All he can say is we have a deal on the table for an All Star player but he won't say who it is. I asked him was it Ben Simmons and he paused and said I can't say any more and ended the talk.
I don't want to go through all the things that @NBASupesand @thecampster and myself broke on here over just this season. But we have kept you guys and gal well in the loop before any of this broke on national news. I only mention this because we have some people who feel the need to interrupt threads with their doubts or trying to call us out for one reason or the other.
With that off my chest...
Ressler is far more hands on that he lets on. I can show it in one spot here from the insider only conversation:

I'm hearing that Travis is using Trae to talk to guys
So Trae went to bat for Ressler and Travis to go talk to guys. Trae flat out recruited Murray to come play in Atlanta and to tell SAS he wanted to come to Atlanta. When Trae tweeted earlier this month that "this is the summer that changes everything" he knew then that Murray was coming to Atlanta.
What was the hold up in the trade? Pops. He wanted OO included in the deal. And once that wasn't going to happen he wanted 4 firsts. Travis held the line. The back and forth was over pick protection and pick swaps. SAS wanted 4 firsts and 2 pick swaps once we made it clear OO was off the table. The compromise was the deal you all saw.
There are more moves coming. I have two sources and my old source that is now my "new" source again is a more generic NBA source. This source told me that the feeling around the NBA is you NEVER trade two firsts with no protection unless you get an All NBA player back. And this source said we overpaid for Murray but felt it was a necessary cost.
I did get an update on Capela. He has went from "100% gone" to "most likely to be gone" only from Trae's campaign to keep him AND that Trae delivered to Ressler/Travis on delivering Murray. Both Ayton and Gobert are still options. The feedback they got from Gobert was worse than Ayton. Sources stopped short of calling him a team cancer but it wasn't good.
Our FO and owner are doing backflips over getting Murray. The feeling is even if we did nothing else (we will, don't freak out) the team right now with Murray just put us into a 50+ win territory. The idea is to split ballhandling with Trae/Murray and to rotate minutes to we have at least one of them on the court 48 minutes a game. It means our team will always have an elite playmaker at all times.
Ressler, Travis and some of the coaching staff and players are here on the Squawk. Some are lurkers and some are members. Just letting you all know. They DO pay attention to what we say. I was told that my post about "This is the most disappointing season in Hawks history" in the last season and everyone's responses was circulated around by Ressler. He was legit furious about the team's play and he has become more hands on ever since then. Ressler literally mandated this team get substantially better before next season. He told Travis to bring in at least one All Star.
So we do have a team that does listen to its real fans. They don't care about other sites but they care about the Squawk. It is another reason why the insiders here have to be careful in what we post because the Hawks ARE trying to found out who our sources are and put a stop to the leaks.
I think we should open a new thread and close this one to talk about free agency and summer moves.
So there’s no chance we keep Collins?

How about McMillan > our former coach. What’s that worth for a full season.

To no one in particular...
If a point guard re-opts in the forest, but there's no GM acknowledging him as having back-up status, does it make a sound?
What’s the sound of one hand clapping?

Seems the needs are PG and big. Question is which to take in the draft and which in FA.

What's crazy about Houston is very one in the "crew" (Morey, Rosas, McNair, and most of those guys) but Tillman got word of bailing on the Rockets. My guy thinks his guy is more of a Tillman guy at this point. He's not saying anything that normal FO staffers say. He almost being a mouthpiece for HOU and Tillman, even beyond the scenes. But it makes sense, Tillman is a major restaurant guy and they tend to be short fused if things are going their way. We been talking throughout tonight. Hayward isn't just wanted by us, a couple other teams want him but Atlanta is the most interested and Gordon is most interested in us.
Hot damn

Kinda bittersweet since people like Diesel were sending me death threats in PMs back then. When one of them sent me my personal address and threatened to rape and kill my wife that's when I left this place for years. Dolfan had to convince me to come back since the previous admin did literally nothing to stop that kind of conduct.
Reprehensible. Had no idea. Sorry to hear that.

He did the same thing to me years back when I had three separate sources inside the hawks and the arena. So his doubting Supes is nothing new. I do believe Supes has a source and if the source says don't mention specifics then supes can't mention specifics or else the source dries up.
I remember when you had your sources

Is going to be a long wait till the draft day. I think we have good cards to make a run at the offseason but trading John Collins I think would be a major mistake that Hawks would regret for years. I really hope John stays with us for many years.

I roll my eyes when patient’s say they are a 7 on the pain scale.
If he’s still hurting, they need to do a MRI to make sure he doesn’t have a stress fracture.
Also, if he’s still hurting, then this needs to be casted.
Great bedside manner.

It was very apparent after the Miami series that we needed to get tougher, more grit. Think we’ve done that
