If only Woody improved as much as our players...we'd be looking at 60+. I think the Bibby trade was huge. Getting rid of Shelly and getting an offensive leader was much needed. Even when Bibby is ice cold he at least knows what the heck is going on out there.

If I got banned for making an april fools day thread, then so be it.
You should get banned for thinking you would fool anyone with a "4 week" torn achilles injury.

It was so obvious he was holding him.
...which was no different than what the bux were doing to JJ all game.

Joe decides to throw up a shot over three Bucks instead of passing the ball to a wide open Horford under basket. It's like he rather shoot the ball over three defenders than pass the ball to an open teammate. Joe has to be the most selfish player in the 4th quarter.
that's what woody wants!
horrible calls down the stretch...they were out to get smoove.

I don't know who to blame more...Woody, Josh or Crawford
Woody did not make adjustments and left Joe on the bench while GS came back
Crawford with that ill timed Technical....just plain stupid
Josh...taking the 3 pointer was icing on the cake but the forth quarter he tried to make it the Josh Show with his terrible jumper and bad driving to the basket. It went away from Horford and Joe who were hot and Josh kept the offense going through him and that was when the Warriors came back.
Terrible inexcusable loss tonight
want to throw up...pathetic.

Not every steroid user gains a lot of muscle mass. Sometimes Steroids is about recovery. I put Ray Allen on the list because he's 34-35 Years old. IN 2007, he had bone spur surgery in both ankles. Since that time, he hasn't missed any games and has averaged about 36 mpg. And his Mpg is increasing. To me that says that something is happening. Usually Bone spurs denote that a player is aging and needs to be played less. However, when you watch Ray Allen, he never gets tired. Steroids.
u could be right...is his locker right next to perkins'?

Basic rule: The less you say, the more people pay attention to you when you do talk. It's the same reason smart trial attorneys only object sparingly, and the same reason everyone knows the story of the boy who cried wolf.
but if you never say anything at all (jj), you're not helping anyone.

Even Ryan Anderson started punking us late in the game.
yeah they had j will, redick, anderson and gortat playing together (theme here?) lookin like hall of famers. i remember when bibby first got here our offense had motion, balance and energy. now it's not only iso joe...it's iso _________. tired legs? we sure did. horrible calls against us? without a doubt. still, we missed open shots all game, while giving UP open shots all game, to shooters who can actually knock down open shots. frustrating loss...work to be done.

yeah i don't get it. i gave him the benefit of the doubt for too long...he's still a clumsy rumblin-bumblin-stumblin wreck especially with the ball. maybe he needs to pull a "Refrigerator" Perry and take ballet lessons. maybe it's a combo of those size 24s and the duck butt. idk but it's frustrating to see him crumble even without contact.

Look at this pick of Woody with velcro strips on for eyebrows in the post game interview.
According to the article Smoove taped them to his forehead.
Funny stuff !
hahaha wow that is great.
btw zaza looked about ten yrs younger last night...he was minus the 5:00 shadow or somethin...

Let's keep it real. Kenny is mad because he really felt he should have become the Hawks GM. That simple. He's talked on the radio (before Sund was chosen) about how the Hawks needed an identity. Thus, he said that was something he'd bring (he was on 790 the Zone). For him to say no Hawks deserve to go is ridiculous.
Jon Barry has beef with Woody. They traded barbs via radio last year during the playoffs. Honestly, both Barry and Smith let their histories with the team interfer with objectivity.
for this reason these two have no crediblity, and charles is just a knucklehead. gimme e snow, smitty, kamla, BRENT barry and jalen any day over those other clowns.

my thoughts echo teamdime...W-L-W-L-W
btw i love watching the thunder...hope they make the playoffs.

David Lee is a great fantasy player, but he can't match Horford's impact on the actual game.
yep. Lee is an athletic freak and hustles to get those stats; Al executes and leads to wins...and gets those stats.

I remember last year around this time, and even the year before when I couldn't wait to get home from school, go outside for a while, take a shower, and watch the Hawks...now, its ehhh. ..I'm just not that excited to watch the Hawks anymore, unless its a ESPN/TNT game, or the Lakers/Cavs we're playing...I'm already looking towards the playoffs. I wonder how Celtic, Laker, Cav, and Spur fans feel..I guess when your team sucks, or isn't that great, you value the regular season, but when you're ELITE,..you just can't wait fo playoff time..
i was excited even when we were going 13-69...couldn't wait to watch every minute of every game, and nothing has changed. being on national tv isn't a huge deal to me anymore, but hearing real commentators like Brent Barry, Jalen Rose and Jeff Van Gundy give props to the Hawks always feels good.

This may be old news, but I just read today where it's been confirmed Midway Games is currently working on a new NBA Jam for Nintendo Wii. I was one of those that played that game ALL THE TIME! I'm really excited to get this game when it comes out.
best game ever. can't wait for this one! it'd be great if u could use players from that era.
-
They were making fun of him when they got back to the NBA news desk crew. I bet he gets on everyone's nerves
big props to brent barry in the studio...he's keepin it real.

The Hawks are playing a preseason game on national tv.....
and looking flat as ever.

Thanks TeamGear and Dolfan this is a great idea...and a good selection of merchandise.
I've been looking for a laser cut mirrored license plate with the current Hawks logo/colors. This is a pic of the old one I had:

"The first day of Hawks summer mini-camp was about establishing comfort and discomfort. Comfort for the guys trying to turn the heads of the coaching staff, discomfort from the coaching staff putting the players through paces at a breakneck speed and seeing who can keep up."
CENK!?!?!?!

Those numbers by Swift show that he is not nba caliber.
...or the fact he's actually in summer league entering his 6th NBA season.
i would have taken wilcox over zaza but too late.

I see what you are saying GM. Plus, Paul could have gotten hurt on our team too.
