  1. Scratch that. He was 6'8.5" in shoes. http://www.insidehoops.com/chicago-camp-measurements.shtml
  2. I believe Eric measured between 6'9" to 6'10" in shoes in last year's Chicago pre draft camp. I think it was closer to 6'10". I'll see if I can find the measurements.
  3. Reports compare him to Chris Webber. However, he is white and went to Duke so that automatically makes him a stiff.
  4. Isn't Marcus Williams one of the kids who got in trouble at UConn for stealing computers or something to that effect?
  5. Under several of the possible scenarios, ESPN has us drafting Tyrus Thomas. What do y'all think of him? I have never seen him play. This report was written at the beginning of the college basketball season. I think he may have elevated his draft status since this was written. http://www.nbadraft.net/profiles/tyrusthomas.asp
  6. Quote: I couldn't see him giving in and turning pro after one year. How long did it take before Duke lost an underclassman early? And it's not like he's as polished as Elton Brand when he came out as a junior. He'd be doing himself an injustice by trying to learn on the fly instead of getting another year or two of seasoning under Coach K. Magette, Boozer, and Jay Williams all left early. However, Boozer and JW were on the "three" year graduation program.
  7. http://www.nbadraft.net/profiles/joshmcroberts.asp nbadraft.net has him coming out this year and being a top 5 pick. http://www.nbadraft.net/draftbuzz050.asp Quote: Josh McRoberts to Enter Draft? Multiple NBA scouts have told NBADraft.net that they expect Josh McRoberts to enter his name in the 2006 draft. Look for him to test the draft process and make his ultimate decision at or near the withdrawal deadline. McRoberts is considered one of the top post prospects in college basketball and a likely top 5 pick, top 10 worst case scenario. And though his game would probably benefit in the long run by staying at Duke another season and becoming the focal point of the offense, it's hard to fault a player for leaving when they are projected to be drafted as a top 5-10 pick. With such a weak crop of players available, especially post guys, McRoberts figures to be among the first three inside players taken (along with Texas' LaMarcus Aldridge and Italian Andrea Bargnani). Look for McRoberts and other prospects such as Tyrus Thomas to deny any thoughts of leaving right now as the NBA draft is a distraction for their current team's situations with the tournament looming. After the season, McRoberts will almost certainly feel the tug from both ends, with Duke and Coach K professing the importance of skill development, and lottery teams (and possibly family members) professing the importance of a loaded bank account. Duke would lose a tremendous talent, but would recover quickly as their recruiting class is among the best in the country once again with wing Gerald Henderson, center Brian Zuobek and guard John Scheyer coming in next year. Tyler Hansbrough and Leon Powe are two other names scouts have been mentioning as possible early entrants, but both players are considered second round picks if they were to enter.
  8. Per 790, he scooped the AJC on the Belkin story.
  9. It's about what they have been talking about on 790 all day long. Salim and Woodson going at it after the Seattle game and Josh Smith and Marvin being problems in the locker room.
  10. I keep hearing about it on 790 but can't find it on the net anywhere.
  11. If Comcast buys the Braves then the games won't be on Turner South.
  12. Harrington Ivey for Ridenour Reggie Evans Wilcox Swift
  13. Here's a stat for you. NO/OK is 28-23.
  14. And just think of what Paul could have done with the personel surrounding him here.
  15. The Nuggets are shopping KMart, though. He's a good defender. If only he could stay healthy.
  16. Darko has proven nothing except that he can warm the bench. We'd better get 2 #1's as compensation for just opening a roster spot for the Pistons.
  17. With Hunter we could win 25 games instead of 20. Woohoo!!!!
  18. Do a sign and trade for Heinrich or Duhon and, if you can get a draft pick, do it.
  19. Josh Smith can't guard one on one to save his life.
  20. He'd be the best PF we have and that's sad.
