  1. Yeah, that was good. Has me looking forward to the season even more.
  2. I saw that dude almost make it between his legs from the free-throw line. It hit off the back of the rim. It was still sick.
  3. Sund better make some moves. G - Law, Claxton G - Stoudamire, West F - Richardson F - Jones C - Pachulia Not looking too good. Hard to lose one of the better 6th men in the league.
  4. Quote: Honestly...when I was 17 I could hit 33% (one out of three) from the 3 point line straight up - no defense - (no backboard shots either)...but I wasn't 6'9".....it's not that hard if you can shoot. You were probably shooting from the high school 3 point line.
  5. Sund!!! You n00b!!!! Listen to the fans!! We've suffered through this crap!!! Hire anyone!!! Right now I'd be happy with Alan Henderson as head coach! How about Isiah Rider?
  6. Quote: That fro looks the same length as it was. He keeps it because it hides his ears which stick out like dumbo.
  7. Quote: Quote: You don't draft a player one year out of high school only to trade him at 21-22 years old. He is showing lots of promise. The three point shot will come with experience. The guy defends the opposition's best wing scorer. He can hit the mid-range shot with consistency. He's still 3-4 years away from his prime. It would be another Hawks mistake to trade him. I will give up on this team if they do. It would have to be a deal from heaven for me to support it. It would need to be a deal to ignite Atlanta fans and fill up Philips Arena. But any player who would do that is not on the block. No, I don't want Dirk. Or Iguodala. Keep Marvin. Trade Childress and a player for a center. FYP I'm glad you're not the GM.
  8. Calderon would be a Godsend. That guy is primed to blow.
  9. You don't draft a player out of high school only to trade him at 22-23 years old. He is showing lots of promise. The shot selection will come with experience. The guy alters opponent's shots with his blocking. He can jump probably higher than anyone in the league. Keep Josh. Trade Marvin and a player for a center.
  10. The fix is ON, not IN
  11. How do you think we can win that game? We've lost 3 games there by an average of over 20 points. We can't shoot worth a d-mn in their arena. Their double and triple teams on Johnson are obviously working to contain him. Ray Allen will continue to fly around screen and nail threes. So, what do we do?
  12. Quote: I think the worst part is after the big balls he was doing the suck on this gesture down at his private parts. Only other place you can find that is professional wrestling and i just don't think its right for kids to be seeing that crap. Agreed. Cassell is a punk. This supposed "veteran" showed no class and was acting like an immature rookie. Act like you've made shots before Sam. I think Horford should do to him what he did to TJ Ford. Slam his ugly head into the floor. Not in our house, bug eyed alien.
  13. Quote: The song they play at Philips before tip pff when they are showing all those highlites and then they say "The Highlite Factory is Now Open For Business"??? It sounds kind of like Kashmir by Led Zeppelin, but different. Anyone know the name of it and who does it? Maybe the P.Diddy version of Kashmir. I don't know what it's called but it's off the Godzilla soundtrack. Terrible movie, terrible song.
  14. Marvin lacks coordination. He also can't finish at the basket. He's got a decent jumpshot. That Dominique-style jump. That's it.
  15. Can we bring up a d-leaguer who can do simple things like: defend a layup, hold the ball, jump, pass it to a teammate...?? Zaza is making us worse! Can Horford play 48 minutes?
  16. That Hollins is a pr-ck. Did you see him stare down Horford after his dunk with 1:30 left down by 10? What a clown.
  17. Nice move by Childress! Law is looking like a hell of a player. Nice that we got to 4 year college guys.
  18. Yeah, we got a role player and a guard like Stoudamire but who doesn't shoot as well.
  19. Why not? He averaged a whopping 4 assist a game!
  20. It's like Billy Knight just enjoys the power behind making promises to players.
