Also my well respected friend Joe doesn't have Battier, Bowen or a defensive stoper on his team to defend guys like Kobe, Lebron, Pierce, Wade and other dominant guards wings and sometimes Pf's. He does it himself and don't you think he gets a little tired after that so that effects his offensive game? Maybe? This is not a video game, imagine how dog tired Joe is after every game. SO basicly he carries this team on offensive and defensive end. Just to make playoffs is a huge acomplishment for JJ with no help at all. That's why guys like Redd, Gordon, Carter don't make playoffs.

Look at the Lebron against the Celtics tonight 2-18 and 10 turnovers. He has more support, more depth and almost everyone can shoot except Varejo. If Joe had Szercbiak, Gibson, Big Z or even Damon Jones we would have won one at Boston at least once. As of right now the "pure" all around SG in order: Kobe Bryant Lebron Joe Johnson Iverson Ginobili Tmac Redd Carter and so on... Joe is the second best defender after Kobe.

Also if not for Horford we would be the same team this year as we were last year. Marvin improved 3ppg, but played more minutes. Smoove was basicly the same. Joe got a little worse. Chillz got a little worse. Shelden didn't improve at all and got much worse. He is no longer with us. Zaza got a lot worse. Solomon didn't improve. We only improved by 7 wins with Mike Bibby and no injuries. That is BAD my friends. How is the future bright, please tell me?

Not really, don't let these 3 home games fool you. Don't forget that we underachieved during the regular season. Wasn't the future bright for Bulls 2 years ago when they made the playoffs with a similar young team? The fact is that we lost in first round after a disappointing regular season of barely making the playoffs. We got blowned out 4 times in 7 games. Either fire the coach or make this team better. That's all you need to know.

Great post northcyde! Smoove is better than Marvin everyone knows that, but this offseason we have to improve our team and not just throw money on Smoove. Marvin trades need to stop until end of the next year.

DUde i agree but you have to improve the team, Look at the Bulls for example. You would think they would be championship caliber team after making it to the playoffs the past couple of season with young players that only get better.

He can do crazy things, but he will also do some really dumb things. I am afraid he will never be consistent enough for us to be contenders down the road. He is also a tweener. I would trade him for a solid young center that is no older than 27 or a solid pg that is no older than 27. If we can get him cheaper than go ahead and sign him, but no way i would max him.

Wow every offseason says TRADE MARVIN. It wont happen Marvin just turned 22 we have to be patient with him. Also please stop with that sorry ass Maggete for Marvin deal cause it sucks.
