  1. I saved this off Yahoo, so it is real. Snapped during last year's Goodwill Games. They didn't show it on TV, because TNT went to cover swimming or something...bastards. JT's a little wannabe Vince Carter, ain't he?
  2. He was the 3rd reciever I had look for all year. Keyshawn and T. Holt were great, but I had gone through so many others (Alexander, Chrebet, D. Scott off the top of my head...) until I found him. A HawkSquawk league wouldn't be a bad idea. I won my league last season...Urlacher's TD catch against Washington gave me a 4 point win in the Championship. Luck? Nah...
  3. ...if it's possible, could you hook that up? I think I may have to leave Prince for another player. My new love affair has to be with Ryan Humphrey. Good numbers at these workouts. Look at that bench on Butler and Woods. Pathetic. Looks like Dunleavy did hit that weight room...
  4. I saw him play 50+ times when he was in A Ball at Macon. He was amazing. What you see in Atlanta is nothing compared to what he did down here. Hopefully, he'll find that old magic.
  5. The Memphis trade is something we've been over many times, so I'll skip that. I like the trade, if it matters. Now, the L.A. trade. Both George and Medvedenko are FAs, so it would have to be a SNT. I think Phil would like to have Kukoc again, he's the unselfish type of player that L.A. needs. Doesn't need many shots, but can finish when teams clamp down on Shaq and Kobe. Overall, I like it...depending on the deals given to George and Medvedenko.
  6. ...unless you want him as our BU PG. SF is a bigger need for us, therefore Prince would be the better pick.
  7. ...something we can't give him. I've heard him mentioned with Seattle, Houston, and Washington. But, other than that, there is nothing eye-catching. I guess it's a good off-season to have nothing to do. Weak draft (according to some) and weak FA class.
  8. ...so, I don't think he'll have any problems with the transition. He seems like a smart player. I'd have no problems with him in a Hawks uni.
  9. I think if Kidd makes it clear that he plans to stay in NJ, then the Nets organization will make every effort to get McDyess.I can see them sending Van Horn to Denver. I think NJ may shop Kittles, too. Jefferson is going to be far too good for the bench. If he doesn't start in NJ in the next couple years, someone else will pay him huge dollars to.
  10. I wasn't around when it was done, I didn't sign up until after the draft. But, I do remember looking at it, it was interesting...to say the least. It's not hard, throw everyone's name in a pot, assign teams randomly, and we can just have a "Mock Draft" thread. Sound good to anyone?
  11. As if we weren't already... But, will anybody really want to help out the Lakers? I pray they don't. With those 3, the Lakers would really be unstoppable. They'd probably eclipse the Bulls' 72-10 mark, easily. But, you gotta wonder, how could they balance the shots? I guess Fisher would never take another shot. Not like that would be a bad thing for L.A., anyway...
  12. I think Slim was just starting to show us what he had at the end of last season. I have no worries about sticking him in there at the 2... ...or 3 if we trade for a SG. I think the only position we really need to address is the SG/SF. I say that because Dermarr has the ability to play the 2 or 3. It's really a blessing that we have guys with so much versatility. JT at 1 or 2. E-Mail at 1 or 2. Slim at 2 or 3. Newbie at 2 or 3. 'Reef at 3 or 4. Theo/Nazr/Leon at 4 or 5. It gives us a lot of freedom to play along with rotations. Anyway, if we do make a trade, I hope it would be for a 2 or 3 (Jones/Mash/Spree). If not, I'd pick up Prince if he slips to us in the draft. Or, just get a solid banger off the bench.
  13. And it's only a matter of time until one of them goes "Jose Canseco" on the NBA...
  14. He couldn't cut it with the Nuggets or Knicks. But, he did show some flashes at St. John's. Summer League, maybe?
  15. Home? I guess he means when JT played at Arizona. Well, we get rid of Hendu and CC's contracts. Giving up JT leaves us with 'Reef as our only true scorer. But, Miller's game can make up for that. We're kind of taking of risk with Johnson and Slim, neither of which has really proven themselves as playmakers. Outlaw would be good off the bench. That being said, I'd probably do it.
