  1. At least we get the annual drubbing @ LAL over with early this year...
  2. Maynor? He's a guy who, due to the lack of talent on the mid-major level, pounded the ball 90% of the time. He's not different that Teague.
  3. Joe looks odd with the headband.
  4. Per Sekou's afternoon update... Marvin is in. Mo is out. (Family emergency) Mario may start. (In order to limit Marvin's minutes) I think we'll end up with Marvin starting (to get the chemistry back with the first group), but we may see more Mario tonight that we ever have...and that's a good thing to me!
  5. Hey, don't blame Joe. He's just running the play that Woody called.
  6. Am I the only one who read this piece as a mere suggestion by Sekou? Doesn't seem like a certain thing to me... Speedy brings very little to the table. He can keep sitting. I get a kick out of the suede and crushed velvet blazers he wears occasionally.
  7. Well, at least Miami lost. Indiana had a 10 point lead with 4 minutes left. They proceed to go scoreless for the remainder of the game and Wade's attempt to win the game at the buzzer barely rimmed out. About ****ing time he missed one...
  8. I'd say all three would be considered at least "good" defensive players, but nothing excuses the 4-19 output from those two. Joe can't do everything.
  9. Yeah...this whole "switch everything" strategy is killing us again. Pop knows it, Parker knows it, and they'll keep exploiting it. I hope Woody called that timeout to kill that strategy for the rest of the night. Otherwise, we're boned.
  10. Aldrich with a triple double against Dayton. Unfortunately, he's playing himself way out of our range.
  11. Boston is minus KG, Allen, and Powe...and they smoked Miami in the 1st.
  12. We lose this game and I'll be crying into my Guinness. Sacramento is 0-26 vs. Eastern Conference teams this season. Please don't let us be the 1. I do expect us to come out with our trademarked sluggish start, but there's still no reason for this one to be close in the 2nd half.
  13. I still wish we could be consistent for 48 minutes, but whatever, it's a W over a team on a 12-game streak. Speaking of which...we can't seem to get any help when we get on our streaks. Back when we went on our run during the December homestand, we made up no ground in the standings because Orlando was on their big streak. Now that we're home again and starting to pick up steam, Wade refuses to let Miami go away.
  14. Well, hell, I don't know where that came from, but I like it. Great defensive effort and how I've longed to see Joe have a game like that.
  15. Brutal. I said I'd give him a week to prove himself to me. I don't even know if I want to give him a second chance...
  16. ...and dammit Woody, we're up 15 with 4 minutes left now..and you leave the entire starting 5 on the floor. Al, Joe, and Bibby have all done 40+ minutes already...
  17. I don't know when Marvin became our best player, but hey, I like it.
  18. Not to mention, the Kings are chasing perfection, with an 0-21 record against the East this year. Let's not f*** that up.
  19. Awesome. (I wonder if they want Speedy, too...and I don't think Salim has a team, either...)
  20. We always run with GS. I expect the teams to combine for 250. I haven't checked, but I think our record against GS is pretty solid the past couple of years, so whatever...
  21. http://www.nba.com/FanNight/ Only 4 games on the schedule next Tuesday + no Lakers/Cavs/Celtics = We have a chance! Our game @ Chicago is winning with 43%. Indy/San Antonio is behind us with 34%. Right now, I'll take any victories that we can get...
  22. Holy crap...we're on a 21-2 run. :no-no: I can't quite understand how these games with the Bulls end up as shootouts. We're gonna be on pace for 130-140 points tonight.
  23. For the love of God, get Flip out of the game. He can't even dribble the damn ball right now. He looks like Josh Smith-circa 2004.
