I doubt the money is there to sign Amare in 2010, unless you plan on renouncing Joe. Would anybody here swap Bibby/Horford for Amare? (We'll assume that he keeps whining about PHX and the Suns become interested in the cap relief/young PF package...) I'd consider it, but I doubt I'd pull the trigger. Amare's defense/rebounding are very poor and I still have reservations about Acie at this point.

Agreed. Solo will have to play more minutes now and will have to clean up this glass. Swatting a few shots certainly isn't out of his realm, either... I don't really expect him to pick up much scoring. That falls on everyone, but especially on Marvin and Al...

To hammer this Hornets team in their building the way we have in this 4th quarter... WOW. Joe was his usual self, but Flip was HUGE. One well-timed 3 ball from Marvin didn't hurt matters, either... ...and the defense this team played all night, but especially in the 4th, was outstanding.

I love Al's "point/laugh" celebration...makes me laugh every time.

Eh...we've got over 2 weeks until the start of the regular season. Marvin may miss a few preseason games, but if it's just a sprain, he should be good to go. (And his tackle of Rondo even got him a couple of extra days rest...) With Marvin out for the season opener @ Orlando, sticking Zaza in the starting lineup just to piss off Howard makes sense.

Acie missed several preseason games last year due to injury. I don't remember him doing anything spectacular in the other games. I like how NBA.com has a picture up for the game. It's obviously our old unis and I'm pretty sure that's Kenny Anderson reaching over Sean May. Good job, boys. Law/Murray/Evans/Smith/Horford was the team on the floor for the final 6 minutes.

Al swats Wallace at the buzzer to seal the W. Evans had a big 4th quarter to get us there. Joe lead with 17, Smoove with 16.

Acie just gave us a one-point lead on a layup with 4 seconds left...took the inbound and went straight to the hole. Steve Holman is clearly still in preseason mode as he didn't lose his mind as he normally would...

If any of the legal experts here care to examine McDavid's case, I leave it to you to do so. (I really don't believe that our used car salesman was prepared to pump that kind of money in here...nor do I think that has anything to do with the main argument of the case.)
