But all of them put it on the floor better than Dog. I didn't say anything about passing...but I liked the way u tried to twist my post. Those who have league pass might have heard this. Milwaukee announcers said before the game Hawks "people" came to them and asked.."Man did Dog TO the ball like that when he was here"? There answer was yeah he did, they basically said he has trouble dribbling...but they learned to live with it. My question is how are u a "great scorer" at the SF position and can't dribble the [censored] ball. Can't crossover with out fallin on you face. I love the man's jumpshot because it is butta but he is so limited offensively, can't create, turns it over and can't play D. Maybe it is his bum elbow or ankles... but [censored].

Exactlly...somehow we need to convince Toronto they need a big man...which they do...and send Nazr for Alvin.

That is all well and good...but when Reef sits and JT and Dog are on the floor I would like to see the offensive focus shifted more to JT.

Since Toronto has fallen in love with Rafer "skip to my lou" Alston and they also have Lindsey Hunter..and they are in dire need of a big man. Nazr for Alvin Williams straight up. Maybe throw in a pick if need be.

Dog can't be the first option because he is a jump shooter and can not get to the basket. That is not good for a first option..Reef first option because it is better to go inside out...JT second option because he can not only create his own shot he can create shots for others. Plus dog is so turnover prone...if he has to put the ball on the floor it is usually a [censored] turnover. Another thing he doesn't draw a lot of fouls because he shoots so many jump shots..so u can see there are a myriad of reasons he should not be our first option....and oh yeah he can't play defense either.

i'm not fallin in love with anybody...but I appreciate effort most of u live in fantasy land where is is so easy to trade and get all stars at every position...wake up ...these are the players we have when they give effort work hard give them som props. ...he is a scrub because he came from the D league....a lot of solid players started their career in other leagues. And by the way he hit a few jumpers tonight.

Wilks applies pressure on the the opposing PG that is the most important thing a team can do to play good defense. If you can't see that then u r blind.

The key to this observation is at what position is JT playing when he leads us in scoring? If he is at PG we probably will suffer. At the two and the pg is playing relatively good defense we will probably when most of the time.

He had to shoot ...why don't u get that? if u r wide open you have to shoot especially when it is late on the shot clock like tonight. If you look at his form he is not a bad shooter..he had a bad night though. If you too notice the one time he passed on a wide open shot and tried to drive he charged Rice made a good play...then all the Hawks told him to go ahead and take the shot.

I can't beleive u compared Jts offense to Big Dogs O...first of all Big dog is not a scorer he is a jump shooter. JT got his shots going early in the game in the flow of the offense...mostly when the were playing pick and pop up high and both Mobley and Francis were not getting around screens and the bigs were not showing at the foul line JT had wide open shots. Not like Dog he catches the ball in mid play and shoots...so what this guy is hanging all over me and I have somebody wide open in the corner. Jt also mixes a little dribble drive in with his jump shots...bid dog's dribble drive usually is a turnover...which kills momentum! Then he does not play a lick of D Don't know if it his bad ankles or what but he can't move. People say I'm crazy but I think we are a better team without Dog.....we need a big guard with handles who can defend...period.

Sounds like Babs is looking for a Big guard who can handle and play D at the expense of 1 or 2 of our big men.

That's because we have had such bad coaching the past few years. I personally thought Smitty and Mookie and Deke over achieved based on their talent.

SO JT couldn't play SG in Indiana, Portland, Seattle, NY(with Healthy McDyess) LA Clippers LA Lakers, Sacramento, NJ, just to name a few, and win??

True...but JT does not need many shots to get 20 when he doesn't have to handle the ball.

I'm still trying to figure out how a team with Big Dog on it almost made it to the finals? And anybody who can score 20 a night is valuable to some team.

[censored]...a JT/Kobe backcourt would be killer. If we could actually get a big guard with handles, that is decent defensively we would be fine with JT at the 2. McGinnis would be ok...I would rather have Derek Anderson or Brent Barry. Jamal Crawford...Joe Johnson....but right now I say start DD/JT and Ira at the three and live with it..not like what we are doing now is working.

I know u hate the Hawks and we are not winning but to call JT a BUST is just idiotic.

What PG was he supposed to be? We knew when he was drafted he could score better than he can run an offense.
