Thats because he needs time with that starting unit. If you tell a young player your role is to be the scorer off the bench that is what he will try to be. Dion can pass..and needs time to develop on the court. we need somebody in the starting lineup to go barreling down the lane...I can stand a few charges but he will ultimately but big men in foul trouble..watch how Finley will get Theo into foul trouble tonight. This is what we lack...and guess what he can move is feet on defense...something Dog can't do.

C'mon man, we shoot entirely too many jump shots. We have only one person that can consitantly take his man off the dribble in the among the starters (JT). Dion has a suspect jumper but he can get to the rack and create fouls thats what we need. He can help with some ball handling more so that Dog or Ira. On the defensive end Ira could play the best scoring 2 or 3 on the opposition and Dion could take what is left. Dion shoots alot when he comes off the bench because that is his role...scorer off the bench. If we are going to turn this thing around..this will be the lineup.... JT Dion IRA SAR THEo This will never happen because, we don't have the balls to bench Dog..it would cause too much of a disruption.

Theo is the last person we need to bench. Dig Dog needs to come off the bench. Our best lineup would be. JT DG Ira SAR Theo With this lineup we get more defense...and less jump shots...which is always a good thing.

I think what happened was ...we played better defense early on...so when somebody would get beat on the perimeter Theo would be there to block or change the shot. So our perimeter defenders started to get passive thinking hey I can go for the steal or not move my feet..Theo is going to get the block anyway. So we stop working hard...therefore allowing more penetration and more fouls piled up on Theo. I think Theo isn't as aggresive as he would like to be because he knows he will pick up fouls quickly because we can't defend.

Please get off Kukoc...we definitely don't need Kukoc...he can't stay healthy...and when he was healthy some nights it looked if he just didn't care...we need somebody who brings energy and passion EVERY night. I still say bringing Dog off the bench is better for this team right now...but probably isn't realistic.

Would be to start Wilks and JT in the backcourt and Ira at the SF..bring Dog off the bench to score...but I don't think Stotts has the balls to do it plus it might cause Dog to pack it in...but he just can't guard anybody. I know everybody will say JT would be torched...but it is not like Ira is shutting down SGs either. Who would Reef guard? Garrity would absolutely kill us from the perimeter if Theo or Nazr had to chase.

Actually Dion is a 2...and he does have decent handles...so far this year anyway.

I think Kenny Smith summed it up best when he said we have no identity...it is hard to be consistent..when you don't do one thing and stick to it... Are we a post team with Shareef....are we a motion team running Dog of screens...should JT look for his shot more in transition? Are we an up and down team...what the [censored] are we...should we Iso more..who knows... I think the laziness is actually indecisiveness...last night when Hendu was battling against three Nets by his lonesome...we had 4 players at mid court thinking should I get back or help rebound...they did neither and the Nets got a layup...obviously the players have to play with more passion...but coaching has a lot to do with this. This team has no clue of how it is going to win when it takes the floor....they let the defense dictate to them what they are going to do....it is plain and simple we need a veteran coach to run this club...nobody can tell me that these players can't win.

In fact I would take JTs defense over Nash's Bibby's Fishers' Cassells, Kenny Anderson's I name all of these PG because they all don't play great defense but their teams win...u know why ...it is called TEAM D....none of the teams play good defense for 48 mins....but all play enough to get key stops...we have yet to matured in a team that plays team D. One tends to remember when JT gets beat for a basket...nobody remembers when JT gets beat and Ratliff or SAR steps out and helps and forces a pass out...that is team D....If Dallas can play D with Nash and Nowitski on the floor...or if Sac can play with Bibby and Peja on the floor we can certainly become repectable....we should not have to trade the team away before we realize this.

I can see it now...we trade JT for an old bum..who leaves after two years... JT becomes an all star PG and we look like idiots again. It it comes a time when a GM says maybe we need to get a coach in here to maximize our talent..and stop trading good players away. I would love to see what a Rick Carlisle or a Larry Brown type coach could do with our talent before we trade it all away after 17 games.

We won because we went to the post first...inside out ...this is why we get open looks and what we should do all the time...Dog hit some wide open Threes...and JTs Dagger 3 late in the game came from Reef out of a double team.

Yeah they did.... Dog needs to be catch and shoot and Reefs came when JT didn't get open on two double teams....and that time when Reef missed a jumper got the rebound came down and was double teamed...JT ran to the top of the floor for a three...instead of coming over to the ball Reef threw the ball wher JT should have been....they just need to learn each others tendencies....when Dog is shooting like that it makes everybody peek to see if he is open instead of making an easy pass...[censored] I wanted to throw him a pass coming around a screen....lol....we can't make the playoffs turning it over like that though.

Reef in the post more....I have been saying that for two weeks now....but we need to do a better job showing when he gets double teamed...we need more cutters....but that was a start...man if we could cut down on the Turnovers we would score a 105 a game.....that was a [censored] of of game win lose or draw....we will probably come out with no energy against the Hornets...I hope we show some toughness.....we need Theo tomorrow.

I agree with that....but any way you slice it, it is only 13 games...I am patient enough to give them to the all star break to see what kind of team this is...

Why would I have to see his stats...why should they matter...none of our players stats matter..according to you.
