I noticed Acie isnt getting much love or acknowledgment around the boards in the past couple weeks (understandable though) so i was just wondering what the squawk thinks of our young ex college star. personally i think he'll kinda average with some spurts of a good PG..he defiantly has the speed to get to the rim and i believe that will be his bread and butter for this year. with the addition of mark price i also expect him to slowly become the shooter he was in college..not like salim chucking up shots just to get them but more of finding the mismatch and hitting shots in the flow of the offense opinions?

Some great news. and i hope marv and gardener get healthy for the scrimmages cant wait to hear how the bench does when they crank up the intensity a little bit

No, he doesn't. He shoots horrible percentages, he jacks up dumb shots, and he's paid WAY too much for WAY too long. He has one of the worst shot selections in the entire NBA. He's going to be making 10+ million FOUR years from now. Why dedicate so much to a backup? (You do know that Crawford would be a backup on this team, right?) Meanwhile Speedy only has 2 years left after this season, and his deal declines, he'll only be making about 5 million for the next 2 years, it's not bad at all. I'm not giving that up to pay a backup player who shoots retard shots 10 million PER. ---------------------- Childress also dosent shoot..scores 1.1 points on jumpers and is getting more and more injury prone.
