What happens to Charlie Brown? Why he is not playing?

They wanted his bird rights, so three year deal. You don't want to lock yourself into 4 years if he doesn't work out.
After the 3 year deal, you can extend for the 4 and then the fifth he becomes RFA? Or is RFA on the fourth year?
-
Why is only a 3 year deal? Why not 4?

We are drafting players with good basketball fundamentals, nothing wrong with that. We have a good PG, three up and coming players at the wings and a good PF. Frontcourt need to be completed, we will see what we have in Bruno, right now I do not see Spellman contributing
-
Parsons is more known from his off the court issues than from his contributions on games. Questionable life style, huge parties, exhibition on social networks.... Don't think is a good influence for the young guys, I hope he gets traded before season starts.

He looked terrible out there!
Agree

And y'all want to count him to be a back up center? He was making Landale look good
No, I was not counting on him, not yet, we need to sign a big. However rest of the stats not bad 8 reb, 3 blocks, shooting is just awful.
-
Probably we are not going to sign a PG, probably would be Carter and a big. However I would love to get Tyus Jones, best PG left out there with Delon Wright
-
Damn what a game from Spellman, cannot hit a damn shot
-
Shaquille Harrison just got cut, might a good addition, big PG with good defense
-
What was the protection?
-
Zubac might be gone from Clipps, someone will make an offer and Clipps cannot match, Green is a FA. They are extremely thin at bigs.
Zubac is still 22 with good FT%, we could make an offer to him and have our backup C.
-
I guess Clippers are signing Cousins

There is nothing weak about the Clipper lineup. Up and down. They have a very balanced roster. Pieces fit. They don’t have to get more talent in any department imo. They have outside shooters, defenders, rebounders. I dunno man, they look legit.
Frontcourt is Harrell and??? Outside of Harrell who is the post presence or the rebounders? Beverly is a backup PG, no more
-
So the projected starting lineup for Clippers is
Beverly, Kawhi, George, Harkles and Harrell??? I find it vey weak, they need a passing PG and some bigs

The Grizzlies, quiet as kept, is one wing away from potentially having a really good core. JJJ has a ton of potential as a high end complementary player. Ja Morant screams superstar PG. They draft that star wing and make a few key FA signings and they would be for real..
I agree, Morant and JJJ project as future two way players stars, size, athleticism, defense and offense, very good players.
Young and Collins might be better on offense but definately worst on defense

For me is NO, Ball, Ingram, Zion and a lot of picks and young players, they have all the tools ro succeed.
I don't like the players surrounding Kawhi and George, they don't have a legit PG and bigs are weak, they don't own a pick in many years. I think they will fell short to land a ring.

Chandler Parsons is exactly one of those guys you don't want aorund a young squad, I really hope we cut or trade him, bad lockeroom guy

The options I would consider would be Christian Wood and Khem Birch, advanced stats love them for a reason. Another intriguing prospect is Cheick Diallo.

I am beginning to heat up with Birch, advanced stats are surprisingly good, good defense and good offense, perhaps a little undersized but I think is worth a try

I vaguely recall that too. Major party foul on burd.
On topic though, when I think of big men, I really do wanna get Wood.
Yeah me too, he would fit nicely here.
-
I think this is a sign that a move is coming. I hope we sign some young players with upside as Cheick Diallo.

That is a fantastic study on this year's draft, I love it Supes.
However as your eye test is telling you Reddish is fantastic prospect I think Bruno is still not ready. However given the FA options unless we are able to land Christian Wood or similar, I would gladly give Bruno 15-20 min to see what he can do. I think he will provide rebounding, some defense and scoring at the rim, good for some backup minutes sharing the floor with a floor spacing PF as Spellman or Hunter. We have nothing to lose.
As for the other discussions I am not ready to talk about what we have until I see these guys in action, summer league and some season games, I think is too early and is not that we selected a sure thing, all the prospects have some flaws, the most polished is Hunter of course but scoring at NBA is also a questionmark for him
-
So after first days of FA our options for a frontcourt addition got trimmed to
Javale Mcgee
Joakim Noah
Cheick Diallo
Christian Wood if he finnally is a FA.
I would go with either Wood or Diallo, if not give all the time to Bruno. He don't have a reliable option.

Why Sibert has 11 shots if he is missing all, all those shots should go to Hunter and Fernando.
Fernando with 3 blocks already
