  1. I think it is to early to call any of those players bust. More than half probably only played a year or two of college ball. Look how long it took Oneal, McGrady, and Kobe to develop.

I really do think we wanted Jiri Welsh all the time. Not Dicku, he is a smoke screen. Welsh is a versatile player that can probably play 3 positions they list him at 6-7. He has PG skills to go with his versatility.
  3. I was initially shocked also because the media had fooled me in to thinking we were taking a WR, but I was scared of all the WR in this draft except Bryant, Reed I also liked Andre Davis. Duckett was who I wanted us to pick all along, because I thought the WR's projected to go at 17 were high risk high reward players. Ala Stallworth and Lelie. Javon Walker would of been ok. To tell you the truth next years receiver class is supposed to be one of the best ever. I was more disapointed with us taking Overstreet but I hope he will be good.
  4. I am pretty shore BAB's is just putting up a smoke screen, but I would be pretty happy if we get John Salmons. He can play point gurard or point forward. AT 6-7 I don't think he is to short to play SF hell we had Dion playing there at 6-5. He averaged 6.1 assist as a senior when they moved him to point and I believe he had close to 2 steals. He is versatile so I feel he is a good pick.
  5. TJ Duckett was a good pick. He will show you soon.
  6. You must really hate Wagner to put him behind Vincent and Welsh. Then again I am hoping you were not going in order on a lot of your ratings.
  7. I tell you what I really like Salmons at 37 if we can get him. Statistically he does every thing well, and he is 6-7. His senior year he played at PG the whole season and averaged good assist and steal numbers. I think he can be a talented sleeper. Here is a link for Salmons http://hurricanesports.ocsn.com/sports/m-b...ons_john01.html
  8. That is one funny pick LOL! That was nasty ha ha.
  9. I found some info on the Salmons guy from Miami here is the link http://hurricanesports.ocsn.com/sports/m-b...ons_john01.html He sounds very good to me. He would be another versatile player to go with our versitile lineup. Man he is 6-7 and gets lots of steals and assist. Seems to be some solid players slipping into the second. Would anyone be suprised if one of the best players in this years draft came out of the second?
  10. I am very suprised he is not going higher in the draft. I thought he was one of the better players in the SEC. He not undersized IMO so what's the deal with him being a second rounder?
  11. I don't know what in the food at the ESPN building, but I am thinking shrooms. Snow for Odom LOL. Hey what do you guys think of their ratings for the 2nd round PG's? I was under the impression that Maddux was suppose to be the best then Parker.
  12. Dolfan I am not saying he should be TJ Duckett, RB by the way, and Bench 500 pounds. It doesn't seem physically possible to me that a human that is that big can't lift more than his body weight. Like I said I was a freshmen in high school benching that. Hell Jay williams did it 10 times I think that speaks volumes about Butler's strength. IMO he would have to spend 0 time in the weight room to accomplish this feat and that is not acceptable.
  13. Pau Gasol come on guys I know he had a good rookie season, but do you really think he will be able to compete with the high schoolers when they mature. He was already ready to play plus he actually got to play unlike most of the other rookies. I will go down as saying I will very suprised if he is the best in the class. I just don't see Gasol being the best out of the class 5 years from now, and as a matter a fact I think Zack Randolf will be better than him.
  14. Sorry Walter I forgot to put Gerald Wallace. LOL
  15. Kind of hard to choose isn't it? I think I'm still going to vote for my boy Kwame coming from Georgia. He may not of done much last year, but I never invisioned him doing much in his first year. I am going to at least give these guys 3 years. The media started calling DJ a bust after one year also.
  16. How is Dejuan Wagner overated KB? Give me some explanation. I don't think he is anymore overated than anyone else in this draft. Anyone that can break their right hand and still score 20 something with just their left hand is not overated in my opinion. Maybe he needs some seasoning but I don't think he is overated.
  17. I agree like I said when I was a freshmen in high school 5 years ago I could bench 185 more than twice. I just don't see any logical way a guy thats 6-7 can't bench his own weight. Woods only benched it twice also. To me thats just pathetic. You can lift for a summer and probably be able to bench 185 more than twice. I am begining to question work ethic. Now I know I don't know the whole deal, but I'm just hoping he bombed it. That wouldn't fly in nfl because if you bomb a strenght test it's good by first round.
  18. Yea i was pretty disapointed with some of those bench presses too. My max as a freshmen in high school was 185 and I could do that a lot more than twice by the end of the year. It is sad but I think they just doged it. You can't dog it in the NFL because bad strength will drop you right out of the first round.
  19. You know I thought the blazers got raped to initially, but I think Deke needs a change a scenery I don't think he really likes it there. The blazers want to win now so it's looks good to them. How long is Dekes contract? because they may want the cap space.
  20. I really like Wells I really wish we could find away to get him here. That is definitley a good trade for both team I think probably better for the sixers though in the long run.
  21. I'm sorry but any man who can only bench 185 2 times is weak as hell. I was benching that much as a freshmen in high school. I'm begining to worry about Butler. This Insider doesn't make it sound like he is too good of an athlete. He is already a bit on the short side for a small forward, but I thought he could play there because he was strong and athletic. I'm thinking he just bombed this workout so he can slip to the Heat or MJ, because I have been hearing about how big and strong he is. What do yall think?
  22. I was really hoping he would slip to us at 37 but then he had to go and show out. We should have told him to bomb the workouts LOL. He is going to get that first round guranteed Denero now.
  23. I don't know about you Diesel but I don't want to just win in the east. We were wining in the east for a long time with Deke and the gang. We want to win a championship. We will not win a championship with out a center. Theo is a big part of this team and unless your planning on replacing him with a young up and comer ie maglorie etc... then I don't want to trade him. I thought it was like an unwritten rule not to trade big for small.
  24. Chilz I actually think Alonzo mathches up well agaisn't Shaq. Alonzo shoots out to 20 feet well and he is much quicker than shaq, and he is also a good strong defensive player. I actually think he should give shaq fits because his shooting and quickness will hurt shaq. Im not saying Zo is better than shaq I just think his strenghts match up well agaisnt shaq. So if I had to play shaq I would probably want Zo.
  25. I really like this deal. I don't see any downside to this deal. We get Marshall and we get a big body in Ostertag that can block shots also, and we don't give up any core players. Plus we get the pick. And I am almost sure there will be a steal at that position. Or we could try and trade up. The worst that could happen is that Marshall and Ostertag could come here and suck(not likely) and we remove both off our books in two years leaving us with a ton of cap space.
