Ok, this is just comical coming from you
Talk about being butthurt for one player who didn’t produce in the first half and has a habit of becoming complacent at times.
And on top of that, Hunter wasn’t the only one called out by @JayBirdHawk
You’re really honing in and nitpicking on this one unnecessarily.

I still think the best is yet to come but we are getting a preview. Even just seeing some non-rigid decisions with lineups and game plans has been nice.
Any coach can come in and make a short term impact by changing up some minor things and being a new voice (i.e. Nate) but changing team culture and implementing a coaching philosophy takes time.
I sipped the Nate Dogg Kool-Aid for awhile until I realized how stubborn the guy was and that only gets you so far.

What a huge mental hurdle this is. Nothin’ to lose at this point.

The difference here with Quinn and the win? Only two words: offensive boards.
Who has seen this action before on the boards with Nate? That’s how you wear them down.

I respect Jimmy but as a veteran he should’ve kept his mouth shut. He should know better than to provide motivation to your opponent.
That said, still plenty of time to blow it.

Tomorrow is hump day, and it will also be “Hawks finally got over the hump” day for me too.
Finally over that .500 mark! Felt like we were in purgatory for awhile there.

I know but can’t you just go along with my schtick? Sheesh. Collins making it rain and you’re just raining on my parade.

I mean, I’m no Warriors fan but where is our resident Dubs hater @Spud2nique?
Is he too busy streaking down the streets of NorCal calling out anyone within earshot about how the Warriors suck?

Kyle came downstairs and stepped outside of his AGM role to give JC some pointers and he finally has a decent game beyond the arc. Coincidence?

I don’t know if I can watch another Heat game. This team just has a mental hurdle at this point and it’s tough to watch.

This. This day and age we want instant gratification no doubt…
No Segway here but any more thought on more PT as a poster for you.
Ha! Hopefully. Kids are getting older and requiring a little less time - and wanting less time for that matter. That’s the big one, but some other work and personal stressors should ease up here soon.
I’m predicting I’ll be a starter again next year.

The negativity on here is ridiculous. Quin is playing chess not checkers, let’s give this guy some time.
Trae and DJ both had one of their worst games of the season at the same time and still had a chance towards the end in Miami against a well coached team.
He already has the guys playing harder, give him some time and I bet he’ll have them in the right place to succeed and them trusting each other and making the right play. That piece isn’t going to change overnight. This will be a good challenge for Quin. How can he get Trae to have some success against Miami? It’s also a good lesson for Trae. Maybe this is the rare time he just needs a 10 pt, 15 assist game to get us a W. Miami is forcing him out of a shot and he isn’t taking the cue and instead is forcing bad shots. This is where good players adapt.

I bristle at any if these guards who've been annointed absent of the 'he gotta win first' requirement placed on ykw.
*gasp*
How's he doing so far?
Am I gonna show up to the next cul de sac brunch and see you and @AUhawksfan laughing hysterically then getting all quiet when yall see me?
What if I can't handle it? The pressure.....I didn't ask for this mess @Spud2nique dragged me into.
Look, I'm no Quin Snyder. Talk to me at the end of the season. For now, I'll just show up randomly so you can look over your shoulder.

So I may have missed this but if he signed a 5 year contract and is coming as soon as Tuesday, did they make this season prorated and his 5 years starts next season? Haven’t seen that cleared up anywhere.

Even with inexperience I have to give Landry and Kyle credit for being visionaries. A vision and culture goes a long way to bringing other visionaries in the fold. Looks like Snyder likes what he’s hearing and at the very least we’ll see how it plays out on paper.
We haven’t had such a “visionary” since BK so we know how that can go but I’m feeling better about this one. BKs vision was only between 6’7” and 6’9” so it was pretty limited.

If we really are set on moving Collins, waiting definitely hurt us. His numbers this year aren’t great and he’s been trending down the last few games. I wonder if it’s really getting to him now.

Celtics miss it too. It’s unfortunate but we may have been saying the same thing this season even if we kept him.

If you’re outside the household names, this is a very “what have you done for me lately?” league. Sacramento is good, as well as new and exciting so they’re getting some love.
We are just underwhelming and not exciting this year, and that’s showing up in fan voting. Doesn’t matter what kind of numbers Trae is putting up. We aren’t the only ones. I know KAT has been mostly injured but he dropped huge this year.

Trae has had a pretty rough year by his standards. He has good counting stats but he has basically been a chucker from an efficiency perspective. (until recently) Also, the team is performing way under everyone's expectations after making a blockbuster trade.
Last year Trae ranked #3 in player vote so I don't think they have some big vendetta against him.
If you want to talk about someone being disrespected, look at DJM who ranked in the mid 20s this year when he was like #6 in the west last year.
Exactly. Look at the players ranked ahead or DJ and tell me that isn’t straight up disrespect. Even worse than Trae.

Lol....no they couldn't..there pu$$ys..look how bad free throws are..I can shoot better than most...only reason there in nba is because of there size..that's it
You could’ve been in the NBA right? It just kind of slipped away. But man. We should’ve seen you in your hey day.

I know someone mentioned wasted possessions but we do have the third least turnovers in the league as a team, so there’s that. Less passes = less turnovers.
It’s really just a risk/reward thing and our offense under Nate is super risk averse which has also bitten us before.

In-Season Tournament on the Horizon...It's now here!

The prize is significant for a young or up and coming player but I still don't think that's enough to motivate your superstars on large contracts. I could see there being a lot of "resting" of stars during this time.
Guys like Draymond have eclipsed well over $1 million in fines for their career and then you have folks like Lebron that make so much more on sponsorships, and other non-NBA ventures. I don't see it having that much luster for the big names.
