  1. We’ll done Doc, you didn’t cave to the Raps. Now your stubbornness to leave your players in when they don’t need to be came back to bite you. That’s when bad stuff happens. The losers are frustrated, the winners are full of adrenaline. It’s like the saying of “nothing good happens after 2am.”

I’ve never understood this old school type of coaching. Put your foot off the gas and take your players out. Unfortunately I could see the same thing happening under Nate.

  2. I say no, and to give him half of next year to see what he can do - like we did with Lloyd.  Either way I don't see him lasting though if we can get a decent replacement - that's the tough part for me.  Even with all his issues there isn't a guarantee we can find someone with the acumen to jump right in and coach this team successfully, though I would think there is a coach out there that would be licking their chops to be able to work with Trae.

This season was hard to watch compared to the year prior, but we also dealt with a lot of issues beyond our control.  He also was at the helm for our most successful postseason the year before and doesn't get enough credit for that IMO.  I feel like that alone should earn him at least the start of next year to see if he has learned any lessons from this season.  I don't think he will though unless we shake up our assistants and he becomes more willing to try some things earlier in the season.

  3. We got the short end of the stick as far as the COVID rules and not being able to reschedule any of our games. That hurt, and when you’re not winning as a young team that can kill confidence. Who knows what kind of domino effect that had?  That was the biggest thing for me.

It seemed like we were adjusting to the rules and turn a corner towards .500 when all that happened. At the end of the day though, we’re at least hitting our stride at the right time. We can be a problem for anyone in the playoffs but I have a feeling I’ll still be wondering “what if” regarding not having a better playoff seeding.

You still got folks on the board that thinks he is worth a darn!

    I think he’s worth something too…in a trade.

At this point I’m secretly hoping he has a good showing the rest of the year/playoffs so some time will want him. The NBA isn’t just about offense these days, and you gotta bring something to the table when you aren’t shooting well. You can excuse Trae who will put in more effort on D and can affect the game in other ways offensively.

Bogi can have amazing stretches but he’s just too streaky. When he’s playing well you just wonder when he’s going to hit a slump and for how long. We just need a solid 3 and D guy, which apparently is a lot to ask for from the current roster.

That's all well and Good that Camsham is finding a new home in NY... However,

Why did somebody pick Gallo?  I mean, I love Gallo.. I think he's an anchor for the 2nd Unit...  but I would like to hear more reasoning.

Guilty as charged.  Clint is the better answer but I chose Gallo because he has been our best creator off the dribble since we got him.  He is the only player we have that can consistently go one on one and get his shot off over someone.  That proved crucial in the playoffs when the game slowed down and we needed timely buckets and our offense was stalling otherwise.

People are too busy deriding Simmons to realize a mega-monster just got created in BKN, especially now that the restrictions are gonna be lifted.

I got a boatload o' shade waiting to unleash on the 6ers once they get unceremoniously eliminated (again).  That guy (Morey) would've done any and everything just to get Harden.  Doesn't care about the fallout.  Doesn't care that his team is worse.  It's perplexing.

And my body is so ready for the moment when Harden realizes he can't play with JoeLLLL (because he deserves the ball, not just as a guy to catch it after Harden dribbles 23 seconds off the clock).

Durant, Irving, Curry, Mills, and Harris are all snipers.  There is so much less pressure for Ben to have to shoot outside the arc so he can just focus on what he's good at.  They are stacked with shooters, and just stacked in general.

Oh, and an edit to this post just to say.....Morey sucks.
