Yeah but I cannot give Bud complete credit for the success of our team. And we wouldn't even have sniffed coach Bud if it wasn't for Ferry. This was the BEST regular season in Hawks history. It's crazy not to give credit to Danny for that. And there are way higher draft picks that have been busts, in fact most. There are only a handful of guys drafted after us that have turned out to be successful. Yes we passed on a few that would have helped us, but he more than made up for it in FA and with his second rounders.

I would love to see some Squawk Analytics. Who is more active after losses vs who is more active after wins. In fact nevermind, I already know what that bar graph would look like.

There are so many media outlets that have come out in support of Ferry. If ppl like Magic Johnson and even Luol himself have forgiven and forgotten, it seems he does DESERVE another chance. We all make mistakes. He didn't hurt anyone and there is zero other instances to support the words he spoke are his own general views. Yes, the new owners should absolutely decide who next GM is. If they decide it shouldn't be Ferry, then we will know it is for PR reasons and not logical not basketball reasons.

Unbelievable man. This thread went south quick. According to many, this would have been a 60 win season with any GM's vision. Unbelievable. It's very obvious Ferry was exiled and told not to have contact with the media. If given the chance for a public apology, he would IMO.

While I see where you are coming from, I will never forgive him for maliciously trying to ruin Ferry. You don't bring that kind of bad press to your organization unless it is warranted and it wasn't IMO.

We should start a "Bring Back Ferry" petition. It would leave a super sour taste in my mouth if they get rid of him after what he has done for this franchise. Bud will leave and I wouldn't blame him.

To be honest, this is the Lou we thought we were getting but never got. I think shipping him out of his home town lit a spark in him.

I have to think they would have cut ties if they were going to. Wishful thinking maybe but I think Bud and Koonin will influence Danny's return no matter who the owner is.

You might be right and to be honest I am probably seeming more perturbed than I actually am. But there were multiple times this occurred and I had no clue what the crowd was referencing. And this wasn't the first time this season that this was the case for me. That's all I'm saying.

To be honest, the "refs you suck" chant bothers me more. It seems we have been doing that all season, even at seemingly random times. As if we need any more reason for the refs not to like us.
