  1. What another awesome thread you got there man. :thumbsdownsmileyanim:
  2. Lmao. I like the voice. That's how most of the southern rap sounds like anyways. But overall, the lyrics are right on target. Funny though. : :snowballfight:
  3. This song is much better. The singer actually knows what he is talking about. I actually like this song. In my opinion this song is the best Hawks song
  4. I have to agree with you about the officiating and Stern. He wants all the playoff games he can possibly get. And for the prize money, he wants to see Kobe vs LeBron in the finals. It's all about money. SMH... Oh yeah, for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-J4mZOcdDE
  5. Charles Barkley just said, "The Atlanta Hawks disappoint me. The Atlanta Hawks are pretenders, not contenders". :beathorse:
  6. I wish I could say I don't agree with any of these post, but I can't. Unfortunately, all of you are right. There is a reason why were are 1-10 on the road during playoffs. All these post are accurate.
  7. I'm ready for Wednesday. I know we will play completely different, which is what confuses me. We can beat any team in the NBA at home, but then go on the road and play like the NJ Nets. Somethings wrong.
  8. Remember, If Woody goes, then more than likely Joe will go....
  9. I'll start off by saying switching defense. There are obviously more reasons why, but I want to hear it from yall. :help wanted3:
  10. Yeah, I noticed how they don't mention our games. I noticed the last time we played, ESPN showed the first quarter, and then the fourth quarter. After it shows the box score, they talk about the Bucks (Bogut & Jennings). It is pathetic how they cover our series, I hope everyone on the Hawks team notices this too; for motivation. The NBA playoff scheduling is ridiculous. :thumbsdownsmileyanim:
  11. Everyone looked pretty damn good. Joe played his normal reg season game. Bibby came out firing shots (like I said he would be doing all season in playoffs). Jamal hit down some 3's. Not a bad game overall. I'm ready to see Joe take it to the next level. I remember against Miami last year, Joe was hitting everything; especially that deeeep 3 over Wade. :D I hope to see more of these games!
  12. People say that JJ is the quiet superstar and people have no faith in the Atlanta Hawks, or does not consider us "elite". There is only one reason for that. Joe hasn't took over the playoffs like the super stars have, and the Hawks have not mad a run in the play offs. Everyone judges teams/players through out the play offs. It's time to rise up and soar toward that ring. :D

    Siler?

Haha I graduated from Greenbrier High. GUESS MY NAME!!! lol
  14. Yeah, Joe had a few good games, but he did play awful and he knows that. I know he has a different approach coming into playoffs with something to prove. I'm betting Joe will be the Joe that we've all wanted in the play offs. Let's go Hawks! IMO, I think we have the team to go for a ring. Size? What's that? It's more about heart. And Yeah, I agree about the AJC articles. They do that often, and it seems like they are always bashing Atlanta fans.
  15. Reading this article about Joe Johnson makes me more confident than ever. I've never seen Joe Johnson talk so confident, so that must be a great thing. http://blogs.ajc.com/jeff-schultz-blog/2010/04/15/joe-johnson-says-playoffs-need-to-be-his-time-to-shine/ Opinions? Reading these articles about how the Hawks are confident, and how excited Jamal Crawford is ready to play. Good things to hear.

    Siler?

Do you live in Auusta too? :conversation:

    Siler?

Yeah, I know him personally. He lives in my hometown Augusta. He played for Augusta State. I was hoping he would make it too, but at least he made it to the last cut. I really think he would help out a lot if he joined this team. I hope to see my hometown boy play for my favorite team. : :blow out candles:
  18. Just wondering, How can you just throw Teagues out of the picture? No one here has seen enough of him, or seen him play a full game to critique him. Wait, wait... actually last night was the first time he got real good minutes, and what does he do? He proves that he can play on this level. And what are you saying? You're critiquing him from his short little minutes that he played in 82 games? Pathetic. He had his chance to prove everyone last night, and he did. I don't get people these days. Give people damn chances and see what they got instead of ratting someone off. Just saying.... :laughing5:
  19. Thanks for the link yall. And yeah Redawg, this song is actually pretty good. It's funny when he talkin about Paul Peirce and then be like, "the next year, ch ch ch choke". :thumbsupsmileyanim:
  20. I've seen Joe Smith rap song about the Atlanta Hawks, it's not bad, but this is by far the best i've heard. But yeah, if someone finds it link it!
  21. I was bored and thought I would see if there were any songs about the Atlanta Hawks on youtube. I couldn't find any good ones, but found this It's not bad at all, pretty funny to be honest. I like it. Is there any original/old Hawks songs? :whistling: Btw, I was looking up the +/- stats with in teams and other combo's, and the hawks is near the top in every category. http://www.nba.com/statistics/plusminus/plusminus.jsp
  22. As much as they would prob help the team, I would hate LeBron to be on the team. I can't stand him at all. Kobe on the other hand, I wouldn't mind one bit. No matter who joins the team, I will always be a Hawks fan.
