  1. I don't buy any notion of JJ being tired. He's well conditioned and its 5 games into the season. Its just a shooting slump.
  2. The only injury that might concern me is the turf toe. Other than that JC jr better get ready for some playing time. Rookies gain valuable experience this way all the time.
  3. Better than the Sac team that almost went to the Finals? I would have to disagree.
  4. I was wondering how familiar Bibby may be with LD's system already. They have both been called a motion offense. Going into the season I was hoping Bibby got off to a fast start because of it. Anyway here's a link describing Adelman's "Princeton Style" offense: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/headline/sports/5194395.html So to all you BB pro's, whats similar and what's different? I really have no idea. Please educate me. :)
  5. Agree with all who say he just needs time. I think JT will be a very good defender in the NBA. If he can stay in front of his man for 15-20 minutes come playoff time I'll be happy.
  6. Thanks for the post, TampaHawk. I would have replied sooner but two friends came over and commandeered my NES (and tv) for an hour. I'll check it out now.
  7. I thought he should have gotten a few minutes but I didn't see the game. But I wish the Hawks were more like San Antonio or Dallas in that regard. Maybe its just me but those two clubs seem to always find PT for their rookies.
  8. I live in Arkansas and can't find a live stream to the games. Are there any? I really want to watch (or even hear) the game.
  9. Yao's a great guy and a terrific ambassador to the game. He's the anti-LeBron. Easily one of my favorite players.
  10. I followed the Jazz for 4 years when they had Ronnie Brewer. Fez is a hard nosed defensive center. Sloan always had good things to say about him. Its hard to crack a Sloan rotation but when he came in he played hard. Pick him up. Or Shaq. Or Mbenga. Or Blount. Just an actual center of any quality would increase ATL's number of true centers from zero to one. That in itself would be a massive improvement. Like driving a car on its rims and then upgrading to bald tires with wires sticking out. A major improvement.

  12. I do think he is a good upgrade over Evans. On realcavsfans.com some posters where throwing Evans in on Shaq S&T ideas. If we could drop Evans for West somehow I would be happy.
  13. Let's not let facts get in the way of a good rumor. Especially if it upsets LeBron.
  14. Isn't he a SG? And I can just imagine Smoove asking West, " did you just call my mom a MILF?
  15. The Spurs are patient with their overseas picks as well. I think they drafted Tiago Splitter when they where in the ABA.
