Initially I thought I would be against this idea. However, more thinking has brought me to a buyer on this. He gives us everything we need. Horford needs help up front and that's exactly what Shaq gives us. We don't need him to score bunches of points. Our offense has the ability to light up the scoreboard already. Anything Shaq gives us offensively is a huge bonus.

I think Hakim will be garbage regardless of where he plays. He isn't a scoring threat at all.

The mere thought of Wade and Rose together is scary. Not too mention an up and coming Taj Gibson. Solid play from Hinrich and their frontcourt gets decent play from Noah and Miller. Regardless Chicago would be dangerous. -

If the Warriors bite at a trade involving Marvin and we get Monta Ellis in return, that would be amazing. Something tells me we're going to need to put in someone else additionally. Depending on who...not sure if I pull the trigger on the said deal.

We will definitely be over paying for a very good basketball player. One that is below the top tier of talent in the league. That doesn't mean a solid committment or anything at all really. It means we believe he's important enough to toss 119 millions dollars at.

JJ isn't worth the max to begin with. That playoff series alone should tell the front office this. Offer him a fair deal and if he doesn't take it, then go the route of a sign and trade. Only if he accepts the deal and the trade is approved at the same time basically.

Why not take a shot on Zoubek? He provides us with another big man who takes up space and can play solid defense. Raymar Morgan is another player who could find his way on an NBA team, but he disappeared way too much his last season at Michigan State. Possibly a trip to Europe to refine his skills.

I would really love Shannon Brown on this team, but I don't think he will leave Los Angeles. He wouldn't be that sexy pickup, but he would be solid off the bench.

Regardless the Pac 10 is garbage with the exception of a couple football teams. They're still going to be awful in basketball.
