  1. You never foul with 10 seconds left when the other team is in the bonus and the game is tied. No one does this. I don't even understand the logic behind this at all.
  2. He has been absolutely terrible since he came back from his back injury. Every time Scott has been on the floor he's missing layups and open jumpers, while compounding his ineffectiveness with late rotations and weak challenges at the basket. Scott having his first decent game since his injury is not cause to call for more PT for him.
  3. Even if DMC was on the floor, he would have had to switch off of PP. This is purely on Bazemore for his late doubleteam.
  4. I agree there shouldn't have been a foul, but Bazemore should have came over a second earlier than he did and trapped Pierce. The entire Hawks defense should have rotated around forcing pierce to make a cross court pass to the corner with 2 seconds on the clock. http://streamable.com/80lm This is a HUGE lapse by Bazemore.
  5. Washington is missing John Wall, and we're still whining about Thabo? Come on dude.
  6. Honestly, anything short of a blowout in Atlanta's favor would be disappointing considering Wall is out. Being down 20 in the 4th quarter to this group is absolutely disgusting. It shows a complete lack of effort and preparation by the Hawks. Next game, Bud needs to start the bench, even if they are only on the floor until the first dead ball. Send a clear message that if you don't show up ready to play, your ass will be on the bench. Injuries are no excuse. Being tired is no excuse.
  7. Bazemore's coverage was lackluster at best too. http://streamable.com/80lm He was way late on the double, he could converge on PP while forcing Pierce to make a tough pass to Beal leaving Beal with a second or less to throw up a prayer. Instead, he stood in the middle of the floor letting the 6'3 Schröder guard 6'7 Paul Pierce in single coverage in PP's favorite spot on the floor.
  8. But they aren't phone apps. They are written specifically for Chrome.
  9. This must be @Sothron 's phone.
  10. Encouraging sign. We shoot this poorly, and it still comes down to the last possession? Hawks in 5
  11. If you make claims that the majority of people from an entire continent of disparate countries with varying educational systems are generally more objective, then you are obviously biased. You follow that up by an irrelevant straw man involving mathematics.
  12. How do you measure intelligence in the Americans and Europeans that you encounter? Oh, you're American educated as well so your biases probably contribute to your opinions just as much as the rest of us neanderthals.
  13. How does a European education contribute more to being objective on a sports forum than an American education?
  14. OK, he was also OK in game 2. I don't think you watched the games if you're claiming Dennis didn't have anything to do with the way the offense collapsed nearly every time he touched the floor, regardless of the lineup. Dennis played out of control, threw tons of terrible passes at players feet trying to thread the needle, couldn't finish at the rim, took contested 3s early in the clock, didn't fight through screens, looking at lineups, the pace often grinded down into the 70s when Dennis was on the floor....the list goes on and on. I know Dennis is your golden boy, but there is no reason to act like he should be immune from criticism after the series he had. I do agree with you that Bazemore and Scott had equally terrible series though.
  15. Give me a freakin' break. You're really trying to defend Dennis in this series? He was WS/48. -.066 DRTG 107 ORTG of 85 2/12 3P 23/55 2P eFG 43.6% 49% FG in the restricted area You use the argument that Jarret Jack scored more points on Teague as an argument, but Teague played double the minutes of Schröder. Schröder had a few moments in game 6, but he was absolutely MISERABLE in every other game this series. The team scored 37.4 more points per 100 possessions with Teague on the court than Dennis in this series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A strong argument can be made that the lackluster play of the second unit is the primary reason this series went to 6 games. One of the big reasons we looked so much better in the last few games is because Dennis's minutes were limited. Just because Schröder was terrible in this series doesn't mean he can't come back with more focus in the next series, but I definitely think he needs to get the hook early if he comes out out of control like he was was for games 1-5 and the 4th quarter of game 6. One can hope.
  16. GAMEBALL TO JEFF TEAGUE!!! He didn't score, but, like Korver said, this might be the best game I've seen Jeff play. He was an absolute maestro on offense and played his heart out on defense, coming up with some nice steals and hustle plays that you don't usually see him making. Starters had an eFG of 76%. If this is the Teague we see for the rest of the playoffs, watch out for us!!!
  17. Did Mike Scott just admit he has a crush on Deron Williams?

  19. LMA said his shooting stroke is better after the injury because he has a tendency to curl his thumb over while he's in his shooting motion, so having it isolated ensures that doesn't happen. Horford does not have a similarly gratuitous situation.
  20. including the BS play where the shot clock didn't get reset. http://official.nba.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2015/04/L2M-ATL-BKN-4-27-15.pdf Hawks had 1 no call in their favor.
  21. This thread has bad juju written all over it. Why have threads discussing our off-season before we're even knocked out of the playoffs?
