Thin in front court?Smith and al. (outside of Howard and Bynum) they can control almost anyone. Gasol, Garnett aldridge griffin stoudemire lopez hibbert to name a few will have size advantages but our guys are better athletes than all except griffin and maybe amareZaza is a bruiser that can hang with half that listPetro is a WAY better big body than damper or Collins ever thought aboutIvan is a great energy guy Williams, Scott and or benson are all decent bugs to sit at the end of the bench and provide energy every 5 games

I really think we are closer to the pistons now than before. More balanced....PLEASE don't confuse my thoughts with a defensive team. I think we are a good scoring team with average defense. I think the pistons were the exact opposite.

He will give essentially the same thingTo me Stevenson is the defender. Morrow is the athlete and korver is the shooter. Personally I prefer Stevenson or morrow with korver always coming off the bench

We will have a work horse in zaza. A big body in petro and a little of both in Ivan. For the postWings and guards. Jenkins the shooter. Lou the do all on offense. Korver the shooter. Stevenson for defense if not starting then morrow for shooting if not starting. Best bench we have had since I have really got into the hawks

How many people are season ticket holders? I have 4 on the front row of section 316 on the aisle AND a pair behind the visiting bench on the 3rd row. I am a coach so I generally sit behind the bench and let my players sit in 316Also I can't make all the games. What is dolfan and whomevers rule about advertising tickets on here if I'm only asking face value? I live about 1.5 hours away do I can't make all the games

The Hawks are still probably a playoff team, mind you, what with Josh Smith, Al Horford and the newly acquired Devin Harris. But they're a bottom-rung playoff team at best. Sat down next to the court behind the visiting bench about 20 games last year. Every game I heard josh yell about giving him the $*%& ball and Joe the $*&% ball.All it took was ONE miss and it would begin....subside when he made them...start right back up when he missed them. Josh will naturally get more shots so hopefully this will help with Josh's problems.DON"T get me wrong I LOVE SMITH. Great player...could be even better if he played 85% of his game within 18 feet of the basket.

NO WAY can anyone say the pacers and nets are "clearly" ahead of us. Because they aren't. Neither have a substantial bench and that is important. Nets have matchup problems against athletic frontcourta on defense. Pacers have been heavily criticized for their moves this offseason. Dj augustin to replace collision is no doubt a down grade Jj gone is a down grade but we have a much deeper team. Largest concern is a wing defender. That is a much better problem than most of what the east has to worry I will say Orlando should struggle with Anderson gone and Dwight saga. Bulls won't be NEARLY as good without rose Heat are far and away the best team. Boston is experienced and should still be good but they aren't going to kill themselves to "win in the regular season". Knicks are more talented than us but have a weak bench Past those 3 I think little validity stands for arguments about where the hawks COULD fit in

I don't claim to know everything but I believe you will see a combination of 2 things in hard times/end of games Who is hot will be first choice NEXT Louis Williams (scary because of his size but I love his quickness and strength against point guards which means he will be surrounded by josh al and shooters at the end of the game
