There are some really good free agents available in 2013. Now will any of them come? Possibly we will have roughly 2 max deals for 2 good to great players to come. Though I don't think Curry, Harden, or Ibaka are worth max deals. Plus I doubt Bynum would come here after being in the spotlight of LA. But still we can land some good players next year.

Still we have to give him 1 more year to see if he develops. He isn't terrible but we will see how he does. You have to give players a 3 year interval after being drafted.

The proposed trade between Orlando and Brooklyn would give Orlando Lopez, 3-4 1st rounders, SHELDEN ( srub ) Williams, Luke ( bench warmer ) Walton, and Damian James. I mean I realize thats where Dwight wants to go but Orlando needs to do what's best for them right now, they have to remember Dwight is screwing them over. I just don't see how this deal is the best, but according to sources the Hawks haven't offered Horford yet so maybe Ferry is hard balling until there is almost a deal set. Then he throws Horford out there ( assuming Howard would sign extension ).But it looks like the deal is pretty close to finalization there are talks of Magic getting ready to examine Lopez's foot, likewise Nets are doing the same with Howard's back. Which doesn't mean it's over for the Hawks just yet, but they better step up the offer if they still wanna land Howard. It's not over til it's over, remember the Magic are the only team that needs to be satisfied in this situation. It's not about where Dwight wants to play until next year. It'd about the best offer, the Hawks still have the best offer.

Its a big maybe but I'm not sure if playing time wouldve helped that much with him.

very tough to decide which player was the worst draft pick by the Hawks recently but I'd say Acie Law is up at the top of the list.

I love basketball and the Hawks but there is too much corruption within the sport, David Stern being the main culprit. Now I do realize he will be a free agent after this season but after he sees all the glamor of LA I doubt he will want to leave. In which case I would then have to give him the "Mark Teixeira treatment." This meaning if you are from Atlanta and you play or have the opportunity to play for an Atlanta team but you pass it up to make a ton of money or to have the spot light in a big city, thus making your very existence regurgitating to the city of Atlanta and all of its fans. The Hawks would have a beast of a team if everyone or some of the players from here would stay, it makes me mad just thinking about it. Honestly next year if Dwight is in LA I would go to the game just to boo and throw crap at him.

From a marketing stand point for sure, in fact I wouldn't mind if signed with the Hawks. There are a lot of Asians that live in the Metro Atlanta area so it wouldn't be a bad move... If we aren't going after Paul.
