On pace to win 60 games as of now. I was going to make a thread about it but this will do. The bad losses to Cleveland and the Bucks do put a damper on things, add that with the loss to the Lakers and some of the games when we have simply not been sharp, I have my concerns but this team could surpass almost all of the win predictions.

Guys like Payne and Dennis were supposed to be contributors from day one if you ask people around here that supported the picks. That was one of there selling points. I still think Dennis will have some more good spurts this season but Payne was a wasted pick and we need to move on. I said that during the draft process and will continue to say it.

All reasons he should be moved in a package for a guy like Gorgui Dieng if possible.

Thought this was supposed to be payback. Same thing happened as last night, the bench got dominated and things never got back right again.

This game was not about laying an egg. Bud got outcoached by Kidd, starting Marshall gave them an advantage by breaking us down defensively all night and Bud never responded, neither did we. On a good note, you have to take breaks from a team like this. I am officially on break from the Hawks until I see something else that gives me hope that we are not going to simply fold against a team with more talent and or toughness come playoff time.

We have plenty of guys who are capable of star and superstar games. Teague came up with several star worthy efforts in the playoffs last year and so did Sap. Our bench looked like stars in a playoff game also. Everyone swears Horf is still better than Teague and Sap so he should be capable of a couple of star to superstar performances himself. I am not worried about this team folding because of lack of stand out performers during the playoffs.

We definitely have rebounding issues and they are not all because of the guards allowing penetration. We definitely need to add some pieces to this team without disturbing the chemistry too much.

No, I do not think you should hold on to Teague if you get the offer I posted or something better.
