I find it hilarious to see all the good vibrations by Net fans who are absolutely gushing over their new superstar, who hits game winning jumpers now and for eternity. This is a train wreck in slow motion. Just wait till the BX gets a load of JJ in the playoffs. Let's see how they feel about their shrinking violet of a superstar come playoff time. Completely agree.I would ascertain that our starting lineup is roughly 10% weaker than last season, but our bench is roughly 25% stronger than last season.Seems to me that we will now find out just how good our coach is.

The reason he is flamed for the contract, is because he packs up and goes home in big games.When you get paid as much as 4, or 5 players combined, you have to produce EVERY GAME, or impact the game, even when you aren't scoring. He just shrugged his shoulders and mailed it in.Good riddance

I cannot remember the year, but maybe 81-82? I remember Rory Sparrow (I tried to shoot free throws like him for about a year) , Dan Roundfield, Randy Whitman, Tree Rollins as my earliest memories. The JJ trade lifted the weight off my shoulders. I loved Roundfield, Sparrow, Nique, Spud, Mookie, Childress, and now ZaZa and Josh Smith. I'm on some football boards as BIGCALIDAWG.
