Another typical ATL game. Go up by 10 (or close to it) and many points during the game and then let the other team right back into it, time and time again...never putting anyone away. At least this one was a win, unlike last game.

These games have been frustrating because they Hawks can never put anyone away. In many of these wins it seemed like they should have won by more but they always seem to let the other team get back into it. I would say rather than the concept that they are currently overplaying, it's actually the opposite. I think they will get even better and will win by greater margins.

Ivan Johnson is the MAN. He needs to be playing more.

Spoken like a true fan. I wasn't comparing signings. Do you think, as a fan, I have enjoyed the stupid moves the owner/GMs of my favorite team has made? Come on, man. Stop making everything so warlike. I was speaking on one move and you have the right to disagree about BJ Upton being completely overrated, but to make this some kind of competitive thing is just ignorant.

This game should have been put away at many different points, but they still got it done. No Ivan Johnson? Hm.

Haha. I'm a Mets fan and I've always felt that BJ Upton was one of the two most overrated players in MLB. The other? Michael Bourn ;) (Imagine having given Mike Cameron the kind of contract BJ just got at the same age. It's hilarious, because they're basically the same player (actually, Mika Cameron was better (feel free to compare their stats).

I have never been a DH fan and I'm completely fine with Teague over Paul.

This team may not go deep into the playoffs, but they will go. It's going to be a fun season.

I know I'm new here, but I had to start this thread. I love the personalities on this team. No matter who else I watch them play, I keep thinking to myself "I prefer our guys". I realize Blake Griffin is a big star, but tonight I kept thinking "man, I'm glad he's not on my team".Give me Teague, Zaza, Lou, Kyle, Al, Ivan, and even Josh when he plays the game he's capable of. I really dig this team and this season just feels different.

Very happy Harris isn't playing, regardless of the reason.

I admit I jumped the gun about Korver. Korver, Tolliver and Harris were players I DID NOT want to see in the game very often. Korver can stay, but Harris and Tolliver gotta go.(10 games, I know)

I'm watching this game on league pass and even the Clippers announcers keep saying "where's Morrow?". Pathetic.

But the thing is...even when he's in the paint he just...isn't...good. He always holds the ball too long, he always ends up on the floor, he barely ever is able to get it in the basket. Combine this with horrible free throw shooting and you have one pretty bad basketball player right now.

If anyone doesn't believe the officials make certain calls to favor the more popular teams in the NBA, that play was proof positive. There were two officials RIGHT on the play and they didn't make the very clear call.

Tolliver looks like if Nick Van Exel and John Salley had a baby. (nice to see Morrow in the game)

This is a great post but did anyone else think to themselves "wow, Dominique didn't really give much second effort on the defensive end." after watching this video? I became a fan of the Hawks because of Nique but I guess I never paid too much attention to his defense, since I was just a kid.
