  1. Vucevic's offense will be a waste until he can figure out a way to play defense.
  2. Korver, Scott and Thabo were all out against GSW. I love how you cherry pick Curry's night and don't mention Horford's 4/18 shooting. Curry 4/11 vs Horford 4/18. Who had the terrible shooting night again? If we are going to discuss shooting in that game, I would think that the combined shooting effort of Barnes/Iggy (20/25 from the field) would be worth a mention. Have a good day.
  3. Can you be honest in just one post? What did our lineups look like in those 3 losses? So when we win games, the other team wasn't trying and win we lose games with several players out, you conveniently overlook that fact. You say teams didn't try against us for two months last year and you think they will give their all in every game this year? Do you see how flawed your position is? Why do you waste so much time on a franchise that you clearly dislike and why am I wasting my time giving you the attention you are seeking.
  4. Lol. Way to expose yourself. A clown outfit would suit you well.
  5. Once again, skewing the data to fit your negative biases. Kyle's body didnt break down. His knee didnt just give out on him, that was a result of a collision and the elbow surgery was minor. Kyle takes great care of his body, better than the majority of the nba. There is no reason why he can't stay healthy at 34 when there are older guys in much bigger frames doing it. We are deeper on the wings than we ever have been in the budenferry era.
  6. Gee, and I wonder why they were below .500 that year. If you could go one post without being negative, and instead be honest, you would see that they were 16-7 iirc when the main four started plus brand or Antić in horfords place. They also finished the year on a tear in games when the 4 starters + brand or Antić were on the court. Even with a sub par record, it was pretty obvious that this team was going to be damn good if they could have better luck with health and they went out and proved that last year.
  7. You are pretty clueless if you think this team will struggle to win 45-48 games. You shouldn't omit the fact that this team coasted for the last month + of the season if you are going to throw the 19 game win streak out as an outlier. We benched starters in 8-10 games last year. How quickly people forget that we were 53-14 with 1 of those losses being on a night when we rested starters before going 7-8 over the last 15 games when a lot of players were out due to resting or injuries. We were on pace to win 65 games before we coasted for the last 15 and that's after starting the year out 5-5. You best believe that we will have a better record than 5-5 after the first 10 games and 7-8 over the last 15 this year.
  8. I'm just ready for the season to start and to be back in Phillips. I can't wait to see how Splitter fits in and which wing will make the big leap under Bud's coaching. I like our chances of one of Baze, Hardaway Jr or Holiday becoming a consistent 40% 3 pt shooter in our offense.
  9. You know they are regretting not shipping him off already now. Where would you like to see him end up? I think Utah would be a great spot if he would be willing to go there. They are a PG away from being a solid playoff team. Xxxx can relate to his partying ways and possibly reign him in.
  10. @AHF You better keep your boy locked in a cage until practices and games. Ty Lawson was just arrested for his 2nd DUI this year.
  11. He's only 26 years old and he can do a little bit of everything. At 6'8" with a 7'1" wingspan, he can play point forward (avg 5 assist per game over the past 3 seasons), he can defend multiple positions and he can shoot the 3. He will allow my team to get very creative with lineups and allow me to play non-traditional PGs if needed. We select: Nicolas Batum Here's highlights from an effort of 14 pts, 14 assts, 10 rebs. PG: D'angelo Russell SG: Paul George SF: Carmelo Anthony, Nicolas Batum PF: Nerlens Noel C: Demarcus Cousins @Spud2Nique you are on the clock
  12. Knockdown shooter gifted passer hardworker natural leader It's time for a new star in L.A. and he has all of the tools to be that guy. We select Deangelo Russell. PG: Deangelo Russell SG: Paul George SF: Carmelo Anthony PF: Nerlens Noel C: Demarcus Cousins. @AHF is on the clock
  13. I knew he wouldn't make it to me. Love the pick Nic. Middleton was the real difference maker for that Bucks squad last season with a +15 on/off differential.
  14. That man just got PAID! 70mil over 4 years. Nice pick Alejandro
  15. He wasn't even that great with OKC since he was atrocious on defense. That nice offensive game gets wasted by his inability or lack of willingness to defend.
  16. Is this a 1 year thing or a 5 year thing. I'm guessing people forget about their teams pretty quickly so worrying about age can be overrated even though it would be very important in an actual team building scenario.
  17. Danny was next on my list. Only player in the league in top 20 in defensive rating and 3pt%.
  18. With what cap space? It helps to be realistic.
  19. It's all a part of the 76ers tanking program. Noel sat a year, and then Embiid, they will find a way to bench Okafor this season.
  20. He already got that last year and got to take a year's vacation. He's only going up from here on out.
  21. You better use your next pick on a fresh set of legs for Noah. @Spud2Nique
  22. At only 20 years old, he was the only player to finish top 10 in steals and blocks per game. He is a defensive swiss army knife. He plays passing lanes better than any big in the league, he's quick enough to defend on the perimeter and he also blocks shots at a high rate. He showed progress through each month of his rookie season and put up 14 pts 11 rebs 2.5 steals and 2 blocks per game in March. He should be battling Rudy Gobert for the defensive player of the year award for seasons to come. With the 47th pick, we select Nerlens Noel. This video is a great example of his diverse skillset on the defensive end. PG: SG: Paul George SF: Carmelo Anthony PF: Nerlens Noel C: Demarcus Cousins @Spud2Nique you are on the clock
  23. Yeah, the summary page is like 6 picks behind.
  24. Wasn't he just selected? Capstone21 picked Dwight. It's post #202 on page 14. @ATLHawks3
