  1. JJ unlocked himself. Quinn just put him in favorable spots but JJ did the work. He too had no skill set outside of being a point forward. He turned his game into something a lot more than what he was then. It's all on anyone we draft to unlock themselves but it will take a lot of work. I am all for Clingan. The only way I am buying Sarr is as a developmental prospect and how does that help us now. Give me Clingan and we are locked into the playoffs for the next 10 years with Trae. You can sell the idea that Sarr can be a star to the heavens but we have Trae. Unless he's gone, i am going Clingan. If he's gone, then, I don't care what they do. They are tanking anyway.
  2. I've never seen nothing like this. The year no one wants the 1st. Guess who gets it
  3. Bro, this is a message board. Honesty is all I can give
  4. Risacher is a much better wing than Sarr but the upside Sarr has as a big wing is superior to Risacher. Where the convo is obvious is if we need a 5 which we do, Clingan massively clears Sarr. He won't prove me wrong for what he currently is but he can prove himself right in terms of what he can be.
  5. If I had to compare his lateral quickness, I have it at just a tick below Avery Bradley and that's exceptional for anyone over 6'6 Sarr is a lot worse as a center than Mo Bamba. He's just a million times better as a wing than Bamba at the same stage as Bamba has negative wing ability.
  6. Sarr isn't close to ready to play in the rotation, even as a 10th man. He's raw no matter where he plays right now. He's like a raw piece of clay that needs to be molded but he lacks toughness, he's soft, and he's weak. He's really not a big man at all. The argument is, he got a lot of potential on the perimeter. His base for ball handling is decent. He got legit upside as an overall player but he's just lacks a position right now.
  7. I don't believe JJ at the 3 is even close to a good idea. If he's 1st overall, there is going to be elite expectations. That's the problem. He's a perfect pick for 10, a terrible one for 1. Because sending him to the gleague, using him as a wing and developing his by far the best path forward but he needs real development and patience. Also, he's going to be blocked by JJ. Man, if Giannis is available, trade this pick for him. Obviously, like Gueye, Sarr has real upside if used correctly. The issue is, we need a center. Sarr ain't that and if you try to force it, he will bust. Why do that when we have Trae?
  8. Offensively, they worked at times. Defensively, it was a disaster He don't got that ability. You hoping for something that ain't there
  9. As a 3, that's where he can be generational He can go coast to coast. Defend 1-5 Best lateral quickness I've ever seen from a 7ft ever. Speed demon for his size Agility is solid and good for his size. Frame is elite for a wing, good for a 4 and poor for a 5. His shooting touch isn't bad. Needs more reps. Not a center. Soft, weak, and lacks toughness. Tremendous hands, once he learns how to use them, he will be lethal. Below average mental acuity but doesn't suck mentally either. He has potential. If you draft him, you are drafting him as a high upside forward with the idea that he's a combo wing like Bey and you must understand he's gonna need some time in the Gleague. If you take him and think he's a 5. You might as well just throw the pick away for good. He's never going to be a 5, ever and be any good. I am not against Sarr altogether but I am for any team that could use him incorrectly. I believe most teams will try to use him wrong. Giannis went through this early as well but there is a lot different expectations at 1 than 15.
  10. Man, this kid is raw as f*** He doesn't have a position Is he tremendously talented, absolutely but you gotta have a position. Michael Beasley proved this already years ago. Sarr is a freakish talent. I even been on record in one of the recent pods that I will post on here that he has Shades of Scottie Pippen if it all comes together and considering that he's 7'1, he might be a generational WING in 4 years. But if he's a 5. He's an instant bust. He has no upside as a 5. Zero!
  11. Ya'll love stupid shit too much. But Supes, Trae and Murray gonna work. They aren't too small and Murray is fine with White, why can't he be fine with Trae. Man, it's the logical shit that doesn't come naturally that irks me about this site. JJ is a terrible perimeter defender. He's fine on switches but he's terrible defending in space. His team defense is good like Smoove, that's where he's strong. Luka got a paper Wilt number just off JJ defensive performance.
  12. Wiseman is less raw than Sarr is and I had Wiseman floor as Gleague. That's a problem man. This kid is a freakish talent but he's miles away from producing at the pro level and I don't even think he's a big at all. There isn't a prospect I've gone at people about more than this guy and now he's on my team's big board. f*** the NBA! Why do you hate my franchise so much
  13. I've been scouting this dude for many months. I always saw him as someone with extremely high bust potential. I've watched full games. I've debated with scouts on him. I don't like his game regardless of where he was going and the idea that he could be a Hawk just makes me livid.
  14. When I went against the Murray trade and I was personally attacked. Now everyone acts like they don't remember being all for it. Supes, we need another star for Trae. Come on Supes, Murray isn't much smaller than Levine. Man, this is worse than that. A lot worse.
  15. He's a worse prospect than Marvin. You aren't gonna convince me he's a good prospect. I've been at his supporters necks for months.
  16. Thats all he is, is a POA defender. He doesn't defend the paint at all. He's weak. Doesn't rebound well. Soft. Man, f*** this guy. He's gonna bust.
  17. He will hit them. He's actually elite efficiency wise around the rim especially if he doesn't have to create his own basket which he doesn't with Trae. OO when starting game us 16 and CC gave us 15 and neither are the total package Clingan is as a screener and a roller. He's not Edey has he doesn't have the low post movement but he does move often like Sabonis and he can really pass the rock. To me, this is Marvin v. CP3 part 2.
  18. Sarr don't play tough. I watched a number of his games. I've been going at Sarr supporters necks for months, if you want to know my level of pissed. It's over 11000 My dislike for Sarr supercede my like for Edey.
  19. Lively plays physical and plays like a 5 and he's 235, not 215.
  20. I am pissed. This feels like those back to back blown leads by 20 losses. This is literally the worst case scenario. I didn't want Sarr on the board at all to be an option. That's how much I loathed him
  21. He's way better than McGee right now. He's just a better Kessler on offense and slightly worse on D. His floor is just a lot higher than McGee. He will score 18/12 next year for us with Trae.
  22. I am still livid about that but once this happen, that's just my luck. The Hawks aren't meant to get it right ever. Enjoy the bust
  23. Bryce Young or CJ Stroud. That's what this is. Go with the obvious center. I'll go with Stroud every single time.
  24. He doesn't have great defensive instincts at all. He just has great defensive tools. This dude is as raw as they come
