  1. Clingan runs the floor exceptionally well for his size. We see it at UCONN at all of the time. Sarr stats in ABL sucks. He don't got a skill set. He's just a big piece of raw material with flashes outside of elite lateral quickness. He's not tough. He's not strong. He's soft. I didn't like him at all before we landed in this spot and I hate him even more now.
  2. What if Sarr doesn't get anywhere near his ceiling? Clingan, we know we get better instantly and he's a tremendous fit with Trae
  3. JJ as a 3 is a disaster. OO and Sarr is way too small of a front court with Trae. Clingan is the only one that makes sense.
  4. Nic was a 2nd round pick and had a legit skill-set
  5. We are probably stuck with it. Clingan and it ain't close
  6. JJJ wouldn't give me hope at #1 overall and he's nothing like JJJ. You compare everyone to JJJ and they aren't close.
  7. Sarr don't have those issues. He's fluid and veey coordinated. His frame ain't much. He a reactive defender like Smoove. He doesn't rebound all that well. He's basically a big piece of raw talent. He's easily the most talented prospect in this class but he doesn't have a skill set and he's years away from being shit.
  8. This skinny mfer at the 5 will be hilarious and ya'll gonna be selling upside for the next 4 years.
  9. Marvin upside was "elite" too. How do we end up with the 1st pick in a shit year like this
  10. Go with upside Sarr/Marvin Go with high floor CP3/Clingan
  11. Sarr is gonna disappoint more than Marvin
  12. If he fit Trae, I would strongly consider but he doesn't. His screening is poor. He's doesn't have this good frame either and his best position is at the 4 which is JJ spot. Clingan gives you enough upside and he's a clear fit with Trae. Take him even if he can only play 26 mpg
  13. He's not good. These fairy tales you love so much bro. He's not good.
  14. He's a fit for Trae but he's not in this range. Just because you can be special, your draft range is your draft range. Giannis wasn't a top 10 pick no matter what in 2013. In this range, it's Clingan, Risacher, Holland, and Sarr for the Hawks.
  15. I hope there is an idiot willing to sell the farm to move up but I know that's not happening. I scouted these guys, no one will move up in this class and give you anything of value. Too many questions with all these guys
  16. Well that's obvious as we don't own our pick
  17. Take Clingan. He's good enough to at least get us back into the playoffs next year.
  18. I'm f***ing livid. I waited for this day for years only for it to happen in the only draft I didn't want it to happen. Even in the 2013 draft, I really like Oladipo and Beal. Clingan upside is a better Gobert with a worse stamina. Sarr is one of those guys who insane talent but he's not a big man. Jon Bender type. You draft him, he might not end up being shit but you hope he's a superstar. Man, I really hate this top 5 with a passion. Risacher should get a serious look but he won't because of BI. Man, this is some bullshit. I can see this looking really bad at the midseason when we should have taken Clingan. I can really see them buying Sarr and buying his defensive upside and thinking maybe Trae can make him more than what he is which is a shit screener who is a reactive defender. Ugh! I wanted to stick at 10 but I had a bad feeling we was gonna win the lottery
  19. The year we needed 1 was the Edwards draft or Zion draft.
  20. 10 was better this year than 1. This is not good. Sarr is not a big man. Clingan at 1 is way too rich. This f***ing sucks
  21. This was definitely the worst possible outcome. This feels like Carolina Panthers where you got CJ Stroud and Bryce Young and the Hawks might take Bryce Young instead of Stroud
