As bad as Jeff was,Dennis was probably worse. He missed about as many lay ups and took a lot of bad shots. Sap and DMC were the only two to show up yet it seems as if Jeff is catching all the heat. Kyle was getting killed defensively and couldn't hit shots. Al missed a bunch of shots. The bench was awful. But on here its let Sap walk and trade Jeff. This place is way over the top at times.

All players have bad games and if you look at my older post I have been a big Jeff supporter but its no excuse for not playing hard and tonight was one of those games where he looked like he didn’t care. And as a guy who defends him, its very disappointing.

I’ve been a big Teague supporter but tonight is why its so frustrating to watch him. All the talent in the world but for some reason he has games where he looks so uninterested. I really thought he had matured to the point where we didn’t have to worry about these type of performances. I can understand having a bad game but its absolutely no excuse to play with no type of effort or energy. He was just going through the motions. I’m happy coach benched him. I’m glad Dennis is playing well but its no way you trade Jeff and start Dennis after 4 or 5 good games. I remember when people wanted to trade Jeff last year and let Mack start after some good games. I hope Jeff bounces back but we shouldn’t be seeing these type of games at this point in his career.

It seems to be a buyout from his team in Spain, not being bought out and waived from the Raptors They expect him to be on the roster this season

Can someone please explain to me this Bobby Jackson comparison. Jeff and Jackson play nothing alike. This might be one of the silliest comparisons I have seen. And he keeps repeating it like its true lol So there are multiple reports by NBA guys that Horf was shopped but a guy on a Hawks blog said its not true lmaooooo And if he is being delusional about Jeff, then what does that say about your man crush on Dennis?

I doubt this rumor is true but its pure comedy to see all the guys who screamed "we should tank" all season now balk at the idea of trading a guy taken in the middle of the first round in a weak draft for a lottery pick in a much stronger draft. A guy that lost his back up job to a guy who barely beat out Royal Ivey for the 3rd pg job is now untouchable. Hilarious

One would think he was a lottery pick that was putting up Acie Law type numbers the way he gets criticized on here at times. I hope he keeps it up but its clear that no matter what he does it wont be good enough for some on here. .

What is the deal with Dennis? Thought tonight would have been the perfect time to get some real minutes. I don't even think Acie Law got this many DNP's.

Really like Lou but this is becoming hard to watch. He cant defend and he stops ball movement every time he comes in the game. Teams are using their bigger guards to either post him up or shoot right over him.. Dennis and Martin should be getting his minutes

I really like Lou but the great ball movement we had going in the first quarter stopped as soon as he came in. I would move Lou to open up minutes for Dennis.

Good win Paul was good in the first half Kyle was big in the 3rd quarter Jeff was big in the 4th quarter Kevin Love is a beast.

But im not ragging on him. I like Dennis. I like the way coach is handling him. All I said was we need to stop the overreactions with him. Cant get super high off of one good game then ignore the bad as if it does not exist. His time will come. I have been on the trade Lou bandwagon for a while so it can open up some minutes for Dennis. I think you guys are taking what Im saying wrong. Im not trying to rag on him or root against him. I just think we need to temper expectations and let him grow as a player. He isn't ready yet. The tools are there but he has a lot to learn.

I didnt realize I posted numbers from the games where he played 10 or less minutes I posted the numbers from the games before the Kings game. He played 18, 16, and 22 minutes in the 3 games before the Kings games I also talked about the Spurs and Bucks gane. He played 18 and 23 minutes

I was in there saying that Dennis should be getting some of Lou's minutes I said last night on another Hawks blog that Dennis should have came in to play point in the 3rd quarter when Bud went with Lou All Im saying is calm down on the kid and lets see what he does. As a Hawks fan I want every guy on this team to do well but I dont go all crazy over one good performance. And the irony of you talking about someone rooting against a Hawks player.

He did nothing in the Bucks game with minutes. Considering how wrong some fans havve been about him all season I will wait and see what happens. Kid is clearly talented and could be a stud one day but he could easily just be a back up pg in this league. But hey you guys keep gushing over 4 point and 2 assist nights. I pointed out that Dennis didnt play as well as you claimed he did before the Kings game I pointed out that Jeff started the season off strong I pointed out that Mack with the same minutes has played better than Dennis You're the same guy that was creaming on himself after his summer league games. You talked about how he is better than Jeff now. How he does things that Jeff cant do. Now that the real season has started and he hasn't shown anything like that ,you now use his age and where he came from as an excuse. Before the season however that wasn't the case. So his age and where he came from wasnt an issue in the summer league and when you proclaimed he was better than Jeff before the season started. Only now those things matter. Cool

And I have no problem pointing out the number of bad games Jeff has had this season 9 points 7 dimes and 3 turnovers in the first game against Miami 4 points 6 dimes 3 turnovers in the first game against the Rockets 6 points 6 dimes 4 turnovers against the Clippers 7 points against Houston 2 points in the last game against Miami I never said he didnt have bad games but he has been a lot better than you give him credit for while Dennis has not been as good as you keep pretending he has been.

Now its the beginning of the season does not count because thats the only time he plays well. If we use that logic lets just ignore all the bad games Dennis has and count the 2 good ones At the end of the day, Dennis lost his back up job to a guy that barely beat out Royal Ivey for a roster spot. No cherry picking Dion Glover used to play well in the summer league so miss me with that weak argument . Whats comedy is you blaming the coach the other night for Dennis struggles. Whats comedy is you then blaming the equipment people for him not having the right shorts. Let me run through them Against Dallas 5 points 5 dimes 4 boards and 2 turnovers Against Toronto 4 points 2 turnovers 1 assist Against the Lakers 10 points 4 dimes 4 boards and 1 turnover So he had one good game before the Sacramento game and has been terrible in every game since before last night. Just to add more comedy Jeff's games before that Sacramento game 24 points 9 dimes and 6 turnovers against Dallas 17 points 12 dimes and 1 turnover against Toronto 14 points 4 dimes 6 rebounds 2 turnovers against the Lakers Oh and he had 18 and 10 against the Kings and followed that up with 3 straight double doubles, And a 25 and 8 after that. I wont mention the 33 and 10 he then dropped after the 25 and 8 But yea. Dennis had severeal good games before the Kings game and Jeff only had one great game, one good game, and 3 bad games Check your info out first before you try and call someone out. You say one thing. Overreact much? As much as I like Mack. last night showed why is a back up, a good one at that. Teague was playing at a high level and went through a horrible shooting slump. Dude will be fine A whole lot of overreactions and prisoner of the moments on here. Dennis finally had a good game and its the summer league overreactons all over again.

That push was so blatant smh Good to see Dennis have that one good quarter. Thought he should have came in earlier in the 3rd and played point instead of Lou Our offense stalled down the stretch. I like Mack but he was awful in crunch time.
