  1. Excellent news if true. I saw another post saying Dan Dickau was the future, sorry but if that was the case the Hawks really would be screwed.
  2. Both deals look good to me. Everyone seems to have given up on the upcoming season, so what's wrong with adding a couple young players with large potential? Sure they haven't done much with thier current clubs, but couldn't the same be said for Jermaine O'neal and Chris Webber early on? Change of scenary may be perfect. The worst thing that could happen is we play decent ball, have a nice young team for the future, have a nice high draft pick next year and have some dough to add a couple veteren free agents. This team needs a radical change, SAR is a good player but the future doesn't look good at the moment and it doesn't look to be getting any better in the near future.
  3. I'm not so sure about Christie, but Clark would be a good addition. I saw this guy when he was in Toronto and he really was a big part of that team with his rebounding. He helped the Raps get to the 2nd rnd, one shot away from the Conf Finals, and they've struggled since he's left.
  4. Odom/Dooling woud be a fair deal. Where would Big Dog play though?
  5. So what was the final score? Good to hear about Diaw and Dickau.
  6. "Are the Knicks still trying to get their hands on Antoine Walker? According to the New York Daily News, the Knicks offered rookie Michael Sweetney, Kurt Thomas, Charlie Ward and Frank Williams to Boston for Walker. According to the report, the Celtics turned down the deal but might be interested in revisiting it if they can't get a better offer for Walker. That deal seems much more plausible than earlier reports that had the Celtics swapping Walker for Latrell Sprewell. The Celtics need some low-post toughness in the worst way, and Sweetney and Thomas could certainly provide it. " I'm a Walker fan but I'd do this deal in a second. You get a guy with a ton of potential in Sweetney and decent guys like Thomas and Williams.
  7. Isn't Brandon a little on the old side? And if we made that trade wouldn't it be saying this season will be another waste and we're just waiting for Brandon's contract to expire for next season?
  8. "Atlanta ran off 32 unanswered points in the second half " Lmao, I know it's only summer league but that's pretty bad from the Wiz. Guys like Kwame Brown were playing to!
  9. I don't think today's game is on http://www.nba.com/nba_tv/summer_league.html
  10. Bad news, I thought Demarr still had a future with the Hawks. I guess we should've expected this due to the ownership situation, what's taking so long?! I'd like to see Dion brought back as well, things aren't looking good though.
  11. Who would you guys say it would be? There doesn't seem to be so much rivalaries in the NBA nowadays compared to the NFL and other sports. For me, I'd say it's the Knicks, although they've been pretty brutal lately.
