  1. You'd think they'd be worth more than these two goofy stiffs. How you like the new ownership now?
  2. If these guys played 30MPG that's where you'd likely see the difference. Dolec=Big white stiff. Every team has to have one though.lol
  3. Who cares about hits if you don't drive in the runs?
  4. It's embarassing to even have these two guys on your roster. I feel sorry for Stotts he should quit and if I was JT I'd refuse to play....Obviousally Sheed can't afford to do that.
  5. How many you want to bet Kobe doesn't even consider the Hawks?
  6. First and foremost, they have money. Money is what talks when it comes to these players." Chicago had money...Who'd they get? Denver had money...but they only came away with Andre Miller and some good role players. Utah had money....Who'd they get? The lottery is a crapshoot and the prize is some kid that isn't even a man. In fact, I hardly even hear anybody talk about this Howard guy. Hawks or Suns? Not hard to understand which place Kobe would pick....Suns.
  7. LOL..Then Knight will be mighty dissappointed. If Kobe leaves it will be to LA or the Suns. Look at the Hawks crappy roster...The best they'll have is JT and some crapshoot high school player at the end of the year. THat is not attractive to FA;s.
  8. It looks like the new owners are making an impact aright...I smell cheapskates.
  9. He should have been a HOF SG...He had so much talent....Even when he was here you could see how good this guy should have been.
  10. He hasn't been hitting behing Alfonso his entire career so that doesn't really work. I'm not just looking at RBI's and HR's although they are two of the most important parts. He also hits for close to the same average almost every year. He's a better fielder... Nobody in there right mind would rather have Jeter. Plan and simple. And for the record, I don't have a favorite baseball team.
  11. Batting average doesn;t mean alot....You also factor in RBI's and I don't think Jeter came close..... jeter had a 393OBP and A-Rod had a 396OBP A-Rod has a career .308 batting average so it isn';t as if Jeter has a real advange there. Jeter has only toped 80RBI's twice in his career. Jeter is apart of the Yankee franchise now..but that doesn't make him better than A-Rod.
  12. Anyone think Kareem can coach?
  13. Jeter isn't a Elite SS anymore. He was....but every year he seems to decline. Honestly, I'm not Arods biggest fan, but Jeter isn't half the player A-rod is now. " They more than replaced him with Kevin Brown though. Put Brown and his ERA on the Yankees last year and he would have won a few more games than Pettite did. They also got Javier Vasquez and IMO he was the biggest acquisition of any team so " The only problem is that Brown is aging and will show decline and it's likely to happen sooner rather than later. Javier was a really good pickup.
  14. You guys should have kept Andy P. How do you let a 21 game winner walk away like that? You guys should take A Rod and get rid of the overrated Jeter.
  15. It's on ESPN.COM. What you think Dolfan?
  16. I'm sure his rebounds will shoot up for the simple fact that nobody else on the team can rebound other than Nazr. I predict 19PPG 9.3RPG 45%fg 33%3pt
  17. http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/mld/ledgere...rts/7952331.htm Tracy McGrady and Shaquille O'Neal are probably too close for the Orlando Magic's comfort. McGrady said Friday that he expects Shaq - whom he calls his "Big Bro" - to recruit him to join the Los Angeles Lakers if Kobe Bryant leaves the Lakers. "Absolutely," McGrady said Friday. "I know that. I know he will." McGrady can't opt out of his contract until after next season, but he says Shaq has kept in touch with him this season, showing concern and "advising" him. McGrady said he has been hanging out in L.A. with Shaq during the last few days heading into all-star weekend." "sked if replacing Kobe in L.A. would be hard to turn down, McGrady looked around as if to avoid the question, but smiled, ear to ear. McGrady said he "could be" addressing the same questions confronting Bryant at next season's all-star weekend in Denver if the Magic don't recover from their free-fall this season. "It all depends how things go during the offseason," McGrady said. "I'm at the point that I want to win. I don't want to start rebuilding again. We'll see what happens." Hmmm...This could effect things with Kobe and LA?
  18. The problem is that 6.7RPG is his CAREER average..Sheed is not a bad player. but people act like he's a real star when he isn't even close.
  19. Okur is a decent player, but he isn't worth getting into a huge bitting war over. He probably is about a 15/8 player.. Good, but I doubt he would be worth what it would take to outbid Detroit.
  20. His scoring isn't the biggest problem..but 6.6RPG for a 6'11 PF is not that good.
  21. Detroit is not going to let Okur go....They've made that clear.
  22. On secound thought...Is Francis much better than JT? THey both average about the same and Francis is shooting below 40% this year....Is it really worth blowing cap space on?
  23. Why would they want JT now???Carlos Arroyo is better than JT.
  24. I'd do it...but then I'd make sure we keep Boris to play the PG role because Steve Francis is a SG. JT would have to be traded for some bigman help. We'll still likely draft a big man with the lottery pick so we could manage.
