  1. Tbh if Milwaukee doesn't make the finals they should still fire Bud after the ECF is over...

    - While the Hawks gave Philly plenty of trouble during the recent bad years, that is much less the case with Milwaukee.

    - Embiid's stamina issues are obvious and even if Philly wins, he'll have played a difficult 7 game series where he had to play a lot. (I'm in full agreement, the deal with him isn't the knee even if he is maybe not 100%, it's his stamina instead)

It's really a case where they should be the 14/15 Cavs where they have an easier time now. But I won't believe it until I see it.

  2. Welp, I think the Nets losing Game 7 at home seals the Hawks fate for tomorrow, unless this is going to be a universe where the home team loses Game 7 in both cases in 2021.

I ended up getting who I wanted to win in the end to win with this series but HOLY **** was that ugly though.

  3. Not sure this is the thread for it but @TheNorthCydeRises's suggestion to have Hawks vs Grizzlies as a National TV game next season once is a very good one. That game early in the year was pretty fun, this matchup would have potential.

I really would not be surprised if Hawks vs Knicks was an early season national TV game next season as well.

If we are so lucky to go to the ECF, I don't think I'd really care about who the matchup is but I get the feeling that if the Nets win, the Hawks are winning tomorrow...

  4. To get not one, but two Doc Rivers' specials is great. Even though I am now forbidden from watching Hawks games for the time being (I had most of the last two second halves off, when they were performing better), it makes my playoffs that those happened no matter what.

But the Hawks deserve all the credit for not laying down and forcing them. Any other Atlanta team folds. This team is different.

  5. Whoever wins tomorrow likely wins the series no matter what, so hopefully the Hawks can shoot the way they can shoot and get another on the road.

On another note, I wonder if the Clippers 2nd round curse is really the Doc Rivers curse. He does have a ring, but even that playoff performance wasn't really that impressive.

It wouldn't surprise me if you saw the Sixers win tomorrow and the series go the distance because...Doc Rivers.

But maybe we'll see the Hawks put up a better shooting night and win tomorrow and in game 6.

    JC? lol

Yeah, Collins isn't that skilled of a big. He can shoot and is good in the PNR but is limited. I wouldn't be too upset about him leaving.

Now Hunter at PF in an NBA game outside of on occasion when you go small based off what I've seen in the past is a complete and thorough NON-STARTER for me. I'm not sure what I'd do as I haven't quite thought about it but this ain't it either.

I think it's more likely that he develops than Reddish, but since Reddish has been out forever and the team did much better with McMillan I'll give him a mulligan.

Fyi, Clippers came back from 0-2 after losing homecourt.

Series is 1-2. We still have another game in Atlanta.

Dont throw in the towel just yet.

You don't quit just because it got hard. We thought it was going to be easy, but its time to regroup and look in the mirror.

Philly needs 4 wins to advance, not 2.

Nah it's a wrap... Likely a douchebag sweep incoming, like what the Jazz did to Memphis...

Just happy that Trae provided another moment back on Sunday, because I think that was the last moment.
