  1. It is obvious what kills the Hawks. Jeff Teague gets us playing with fire and momentum and then Bud brings in Dennis with all his careless mistakes and takes the life out of us. People just don't or won't realize what Teague means to this team. Dennis is a long way off from leading a team like Jeff can.
  2. Personally i still hope we keep starting Jeff Teague next season. I like Dennis but he still has a lot to learn about not continuously making silly turnovers and thinking plays through. I am not sure which player i would choose if we could only keep one. I think people sometimes forget how good Jeff is.
  3. Caitlyn Jenner would board The Ed Hochuli ship.
  4. I'll take a dream about a cruise ship anyday over a dream about NBA referees.
  5. I have often pondered or dreamed what it would be like to be a fan of an NBA team that actually gets somewhat fairly called games without bullshit foul calls. I am seriously considering cutting back my time watching these games next year, because when you are wanting to blast out your TV screen with a shotgun because of NBA refs maybe you should spend more of your time on something else.
  6. I was very impressed with Paul 's hard work tonight. It was obvious he was not getting any calls from the refs, but instead of compaining he went out and just kept working harder and harder and forced them to start giving him some calls. I do not believe there is a player any more dedicated to hard work in the NBA than Paul. Young players could learn a lot from him.
  7. All you ever hear anymore in NBA talk is discussion about how one team matches up against another. It seems like teams and the fans just use it as an excuse to play like crap against teams you "don't much up well against. I am of the opinion it is like the saying "you are what your record is", the same here applies in the fact if your a$$ gets handed to you it is not because of "matchups" but because they are the better team.
  8. I am being honest here. I can personally outshoot Kent Bazemore. He is not worth anywhere near that kind of money and is easily replaceable. As far as a person, i really like him.
  9. I was really beginning to wonder if Beal was maybe the best player in the NBA after his recent performances against the Hawks. I really enjoyed seeing him finally contained for once.
  10. This is a good point about limited ceiling. I need to curb these thoughts about getting very deep in playoffs.
  11. Could someone smarter than me explain why we have so much difficulty with Miami? Does Miami bring up their level of play against the Hawks more than other teams. I do realize they just beat Cleveland easily.
  12. I have been looking at the national forums on the NBA and the Hawks are non existent. I hope it stays this way because it would be so sweet to shock all these uneducated fans.
  13. The key to keeping the 3rd seed is not our physical ability, but rather our mental toughness.
  14. I would start by somehow trying to convince Bazemore that he shouldn't try to compete with Steph Curry for the 3 point title!
  15. It might be possible to get to Eastern conference finals, but we have no chance of a championship with these NBA referees.
  16. This NBA ref Josh Tibbet tonight is beyond pathetic!

    NBA Refs

The Toronto game tonight is confirming my point.

    NBA Refs

Looks like I am one of the rare few that see the NBA refs this way.
  19. After watching this game i hope we can keep both Teague and Schröder as long as possible.

    NBA Refs

I love to watch every Hawks game i can, but i honestly have to take a break and skip a few games every now and then to keep my sanity because of the stress these pathetic NBA refs cause me. I don't know why but they are truly bias against the Hawks on foul calls compared to the teams we play. No one could convince me this is not true. I don't know of any profession where someone sucks at their job at the level they do. LOL
  21. I am a pretty big fan of Paul . I have noticed ever since his shoulder injury last year that his shooting touch is just not what it was before the injury, sometimes by a longshot and he even has trouble making easy shots in the paint sometimes. Does anyone think this is somehow an effect from that injury?

    In The Clutch

When i was a kid i can remember Dominique being way more clutch than anyone on our current team.

    In The Clutch

I have been a fan of all Atlanta teams since the early 70's. I know we have had a few players that have the clutch gene on some of the various Atlanta sports teams over the years. Is it just me or do the Hawks and all the other teams traditionally have a huge problem of performing in crunch times of games, while a lot of the teams we play don't seem to have a lot of issues with that. Is this a mental thing that carries over to all Atlanta pro sports teams?
