    I like LP as a person. I got to talk to him at the end of his 1st season and I asked what was up with the defense and he straight up said “Lack of effort”. Bruhhhhhhhhh. I wish I could go back in time and drill him about our trash offense. Or somehow convince Schlenk not to hire him.

We’ve got so many rookies playing and our 2nd best player is out. I swear half the forum was ready to burn it down and declare Trae a chucker in the last game thread....

    Time to change my profile pic... I don't like the use of PEDs. I get that Bron and the other stars do it. I don't even fault JC or Lance Armstrong or any other athlete for doing it, its not my career, and I get that more often than not the athletes are just trying to stay competitive with the other cheaters. Just sucks they would tag a guy like Collins because nobody could give two shits about the Hawks in the national media landscape. But definitely not what you want to learn about your favorite player.

    A lot leaner than he was. I caught the preseason game in Chicago and a lot of the fans were shocked at how good he looks.

    Man, I went to all but like 3 home games last year...now I moved up north. It kinda sucks not getting to see the team get better in person. It looked so lit on TV though!

    I literally got into the dumbest argument at a bar last night with a guy who didn’t even think Trae was a top 5 PG in the East....if only they showed Hawks games nationally. Can’t believe how many folks sleeping on him.

    Loving the energy from the rooks. I like how we look on defense with Cam on the floor despite his offensive woes. I popped when he got that first bucket. Hunter is is gonna be a great player. Hope we pull it out.

    Today is the real test....to see if we can beat the magic. God those were some frustrating games to drop last year.

    Initial thoughts: -Trae looked very in control of the team. -Hunter is going to be a great player. Very heads up. -Collins' haircut looks weird, but he's a double-double machine -Still some really dumb turnovers, and defense lapsed at times. If we play like we did in the 2nd half, it should be a good season. Glad Hawks basketball is back, ya'll!
