  1. CP 61 I agree Embiid and Simmons are both ultra talented but those guys keep getting hurt. How many times has Embiid been hurt so far in his career. Simmons is also recovering from a foot injury.Yes, Philly has talent but they still might not win. TRW
  2. and I remember what happened the last time. Mr. Schlenk, we have too much momentum to go backwards. A great coach, new training center with PS3, new d-league team, and phillips renovations. 1. Give Paul a 5 year 135 million deal. Years 1-5 as follows. Year 1 30 million Year 2 30 million Year 3 30 million Year 4 25 million Year 5 20 million with incentives, contract with Kia motors and local television deals with turner broadcasting or Tyler Perry courtesy of Mr. Koonin. Take the best players available in the draft at 19 and 31. My favorites are Texas center Allen, Semi. O., and Frank Jackson. Trade Dennis, Prince, Bazemore, and our 2nd first round pick next year for Paul George and Al Jefferson. Why Jefferson? Because his second year is a team option and we save 10 million. Resign Tim Hardaway, Dunleavy, Ersan, and Aaron Brooks. Put the ball in Paul George hands and let him run the show. Putting the ball in PG13 hands would definitely make us a better team and surely make PG13 all NBA which would qualify him for the supermax, which in turn would make it hard for him to leave during free agency. My death lineup would be PG13, Millsap, THJ, Ersan, and any shooter you choose from the draft or free agency. Howard would give us defense in the middle. This team would definitely challenge LeBron and the rest of the east. I'm ready for my bashing so give it to me.
  3. I can't believe what I just saw. Can we keep this momentum going for the rest of the season and the playoffs? Wow!
  4. I can't believe what I just saw. Wow! I hope we're playoff bound now.
  5. Heard on Colin Cowherd earlier today that an eastern conference team is possibly up for sale. I hope it's not us. Is it the Knicks? Will Supes are somebody in the know give me more intel. Don't know how reliable this Cowherd guy is.
  6. They have good talent, I don't understand why they haven't taken the next step. You're right Hennigan might be the fall guy.
  7. Good points, But if we renounced Millsap, could PG13 salary be absorbed like we did with Tiago? And how much does a first round pick cost? I also like DS17 but my biggest fear is he'll turn into a mini Westbrook and most players wouldn't like playing with him. Yes, he's a first year starter but some of the mistakes he made earlier in the season are still happening. That turnover against Chicago in the last minute was brutal. I don't believe DS17 will ever make the all-star team.
  8. 1. Trade Dennis, Bazemore, Prince or a future 1st for D. Lillard and Portlands 7-1 center who shoots the three. We need a big time scorer and shooter. Two non shooters at PG and C can't work in todays game. 2. Throw everything else at Paul George, I like him over Butler. 3. Sign Danilo Gallinari. 4. Resign THJ. 5. I love Sap but let him walk. If I can't get Paul George then bring back Millsap at a reasonable price. 6. Resign Ersan if the money is right. 7. I would love to see a lineup with Dame, THJ, PG13, Gallinari, and D8. Bud could run his offense the way it should run. This lineup is similar to the Orlando Magic teams when the D8 was at his best. Rebounding would be an issue but this team would be exciting. Even if we couldn't get PG13, it still would look good with Milsap also. JayBirdHawk, When I mentioned throw everything else at PG13, I was talking about draft picks, not players. We have three picks this year and future 1st rounders. According to Marc Stein, this was offered for PG13 at the trade deadline. As far as Lillard is concerned, I read an article from a local Portland paper in late Jan. or early Feb. saying they had to trade Lillard or McCollum because they both brought the same things to the court, all offense and no defense. They also mentioned their salary cap situation. The consensus was they would rather keep McCollum. We need a true leader and go to guy and I believe Lillard is that man. If Portland misses the playoffs, game on.
  9. Wouldn't mind getting Melo if it meant getting from under the Bazemore contract. Not sure if Melo would come to the ATL though. Sounds like a clipper to me.

  11. I think we'll miss Teague and his scoring and I see Knight as a bigger more aggressive version of Teague. Having two quality point guards has been great for us. He could play a Jamal Crawford role. Winning is more important than a starting role, he would still get his minutes. Dennis will need to be pushed just like he pushed Teague.
  12. Brandon Knight is the final piece we need to add to our team. He'd be the perfect backup point guard behind Schröder. The only issue is he makes around 14 million a season but that's a bargain in this new NBA. He's under contract for the next 4 seasons, he can shoot, handle, and run a team. Can also play at the 2. How about Thabo, Patterson and a future 1st.
