If Siakam is out…I could see us shifting focus to a controversial, old board favorite - Ayton. Not saying I support this by any means.

And if we're losing DJM in a Siakam trade, are we moving Bogi to the starting 2??? Love Bogi, but there are injury concerns there. Patch one hole and create another. I'm literally only doing the Siakam deal if OG is included. And that ain't happening.

Him and OO are both 6'8" so not much size in that frontcourt. He's also a career 32% 3 point shooter and an expiring contract. And what @Hawkish said too.

I don’t think Boston has the expirings Travis wants, so they’re going to have to find a 3rd team in the next hour to take on an injured Brogdon. Won’t be easy. But can’t see KP not opting in. Who even would have the cap space to sign him to a big contract? Gut says he opts-in and the trade just gets delayed until they find a new 3rd team. Still really want him in ATL, especially when you see the peanuts it’ll take to land him.

Think I’d rather keep DJM, Hunter, JC, and Capela.

It passes the sniff test for me. 1. There’s obviously some conversations going on between us and Toronto for Siakam. Way too much smoke and reporting for it not to be true. 2. If FVV is gone, PG makes a lot of sense for them. 3. I don’t see us going into next offseason with 2 of our 3 stars hitting FA’gncy.

I think this would be more likely, but I honestly have no clue at this point.

I have concerns that the Siakam trade involves DJM. If Toronto loses FVV, then DJM makes sense for them. It also does not make much sense for us to go into next offseason with both DJM and Siakam hitting FA'gncy. Trading all those picks for DJM and then turning him into Siakam is not good. This is why I bring up OG. If my hunch is right, it's the only way Landry saves face on this one.

OR... Tatum and KP flourish together, become best friends, and Jaylen Brown feels left out and demands a trade HOME.

I can roll with Siakam IF he comes along with OG. No OG...no interest from me.
