Y’all don’t get it. Yes, Porzingis is a high risk because of his injury history, but he’s also very high reward. High reward if he just duplicates what he did last year. The “high” risk is what are you giving up to get him? Boston is about to get him for JUST Malcolm Brogdon and Gallo if Woj’s report is correct. I’d say that’s a pretty low risk for a high reward.

Just go ahead and give Boston the East now. Saves us all some time.

Honestly yet to see any kind of rumor that makes us better. None. Trading Murray, Dre, JC, or Cap for 1 or 2 rookies to carry on this team is going to do nothing to help us win next year, and maybe just pushes Trae out. Meanwhile, Boston is about to add a game changer in Porzingis and lose next to nothing. Brown/Tatum/KP will be tough. Very tough. It’s obviously still early in the off-season, but none of these rumors have been good.

I wouldn’t consider Royce O’Neale and Joe Harris a decent return for even Bruno much less John Collins.

If Royce O’Neale and Joe Harris is all we can get for JC, it’s the Huerter trade 2.0 for me minus the FRP. Simply a cost saving move that doesn’t make us better.

Interesting. I still think Lively is the target though. I believe both JC and Cap are getting dealt. OO will step up to start and backup center then becomes our 2nd biggest need after a new starting PF...but they're not going to draft a rookie to start at the 4. Backup center has and still makes the most sense.

I’d do Capela straight up for 10 and Bertans. But if they’re insisting on us including 15, it’s not worth losing Capela & taking on a bad contract to move up 5 spots.

Somehow this is going to end with Pat Riley convincing them to trade Dame to Miami. Way more likely than Bam to Portland.

If we have to take back Bertans contract then it seems fair to me.

Don't get me wrong, I'd include him for Jaylen Brown or OG. But not interested in losing him for any of the trade rumors I've seen.
