Can you elaborate more on this because I’m thoroughly confused about what our front office is thinking. I know we targeted Green and Hardy from Dallas, but that was before the JC trade. I guess this means you still think Cap gets moved?

Fischer said on Brad’s pod Hawks will likely have to attach an asset to JC to get out of his contract. Similar to GS and Poole.

Really would have liked turning Capela into Lively, and hope we didn’t blow that up over Green or Hardy. But I can understand not wanting to take on Bertans contract. I like our draft, but would have loved our draft if we could have swung Lively/Bufkin.

I doubt these cost cutting mandates will sit well with Trae. Already lost us Huerter and seems likely it'll cost us someone of value this offseason. Just something to keep an eye on. -

Not like any rookie we picked at 15 had a clear path to meaningful minutes anyways. We literally have a starter and established backup for every spot as the roster is now. Might as well take the perimeter defender who can play on/off ball.
