Like them both...a lot. But I don't know if I see JJ / OO working long-term in the frontcourt and we need OO for Giannis duty. We also need shooters around Trae with neither DJM or OO excelling at that. AJ fits better to build around Trae and OO in my opinion.

Rumor is Bey + JJ and 2 firsts. Cap to a 3rd team. Gay to make salaries match if combined with the JC trade. This is how I understand the rumor at least.

Put a fork in it. Even if nothing else big happens this summer, it's pretty clear our front office wants a 3rd superstar and when one becomes available, we are well positioned with young talent to be at the front of that line.

I think we’d be okay at Center with a rotation of - OO / Garuba / Bruno KAT can play some backup 5 as well like we do Murray at point. Definitely need another Forward though.

Is Capela on his way to a 3rd team? So we’d be out Cap, Bey, JJ, Rudy, FRP. 3rd team is out a salary filler + FRP (pick to Minny) and 3rd team gets Cap. Is this essentially the framework?

I'm on board for KAT. If we can keep OO and 1 of Bey/Hunter, our starting 5 is legit. BUT...all I'm gonna say...and I can't guarantee this is the last time I'm gonna say it.... but we could have had KP and traded away no one from our core and only had to pay him $30M vs KAT at over $50M and probably losing Bey and JJ. There. I said my peace.

Could also add Bey here if that's who they really want and money would still work.

OO was top 10 in blocks off the bench last season so I don't think that is out of the question.

KAT is the better fit imo compared to Siakam. More size next to OO and better spacing for Trae. I think he’ll be fine on defense. OO takes the tougher cover and KAT can guard the Lopez’s and Horford’s of the East.
