This would be my take it or leave it offer for Siakam. If they say no, run it back with JJ and wait for Minny to start the season 10-20 and trade for KAT then. Not sure if this is better than Indiana’s offer as I’m not familiar with their team.

Y’all giving me some hope about Siakam’s defense. I definitely like that. But we can’t be giving up both Dre and Bey in a deal. Gotta keep one of them. I still want KAT though and still believe KP was our best option this summer. But I digress…

I don’t have any doubt these guys will not hesitate to shoot. I’m more worried about how many actually go in the net.

Does Siakam have some kind of history of being able to shut down Tatum or Embiid that I’m not aware of? Kind of like how OO is the Giannis stopper. Because if we’re not going to be able to shoot the 3 well, we damn sure better be able to shut these superstars down on defense.

Can one of y’all who really wants Siakam please let me know why? Specifically, what you like about a Trae / DJM / Siakam / OO core. Not trying to argue, I just genuinely want to know so I can share in your excitement when we trade for him.

If KAT doesn't happen and Siakam is the only "star" available for trade this offseason, it might make sense to stand pat and see what JJ can do at the 4. And wait for the next star to become available. Just too many non-shooters inserting Siakam into this lineup.

Guess that would take Dallas out of the running too if they get Cap. Hopefully Landry has played this perfectly and Minny and Toronto are competing against each other for which team gets to send us the better player in a trade

Can they play the 3? Sure... But I watched enough of them last year to know AJ is best at the 2 and JJ at the 4.

I'm with ya man, would rather have KAT. With that said, the original rumor was Bey going out. If that's changed to Dre going out, I may have to rethink things as Trae/Bey/KAT would be a disaster on defense. We're smoking everyone on offense though.

Who are these interchangeable 2/3's on the roster? Bogi and Griffin? Because I don't want to have to rely on either of them for their defense.

This sounds like my past weekend.

I have some anxiety about a Siakam fit on this team. Yes, KAT will be more expensive, but you get what you pay for. Siakam's 3P% is concerning especially if you're adding that to a lineup of Trae, DJM, and OO who aren't really the best at it either. Both Siakam and OO are undersized too for the 4/5. They have some strength so maybe that will compensate...but I'd still rather have the 6'11" elite floor spacer.

Mavs Twitter really wants a center and I don’t think they’re wrong. They still make the most sense to take on Cap.

Go ahead and move Vit up to the guaranteed roster spot for 3rd PG.
