  1. Do we know for sure and with absolute certainty - NO. But there are enough rumors, first here on the Squawk and now later the usual national rumor writers: "The Bulls are fully expecting LaVine to take visits, be wined and dined, and explore the unrestricted free agency he has earned." Additionally, four teams have already been linked to LaVine - Lakers, Trail Blazers, Mavericks, and Hawks.
  2. Teams never get full value return in SnT trade deals particularly when teams have capspace and particularly for RFAs. Example: The Pelicans received Satoransky, Temple and a 2nd rounder from the Bulls for Lonzo Ball SnT
  3. Maybe long term, but not next season as a 4. Saw nothing from him this season to say he can man the 4 consistently for this upcoming season - he would have to have a very transformative offseason. I hope he does.
  4. In a SnT it is. The Bulls SnT'd Derozan for Thaddeus Young, Al-Farouq Aminu, a first rounder and two seconds.
  5. what makes him a 4 FOR SURE? We would all like him to develop into that, but what has he done to show that he is a 4 so far in his 98 games. These are the top rated PFs. What does OO do to fall in this class. Top NBA power forwards for 2021-22: Ranking all 30 starters | Sporting News
  6. I don't think they can outright prevent them. If they are injured though, I think they have to be cleared by their NBA team to participate. Recently a player was denied clearance to play (I can't remember the player or team).
  7. Welcome aboard the Crazy Train! @Spud2nique will be sending you the Hawk test to test your fandom.
  8. September??? You'll miss all the good stuff between now and then...draft, FAcy, rumors etc. Lol
  9. Longtime NBA agent Bill Duffy appeared on SiriusXM NBA Radio from the 2022 NBA Draft Combine. One topic of conversation was the upcoming free agency of Deandre Ayton, who is one of Duffy's clients. When asked where things stand with the Phoenix Suns, Duffy admitted Ayton's camp is disappointed a deal wasn't already worked out. “We’re disappointed. We wanted a max contract,” Duffy said. “He went out and was a solider the whole year, played well, improved his statistics. So, we’re proud of him. A lot of guys handle things differently, but he was very mature about it." Duffy expressed confidence that Ayton will still get a good deal, even if it's not with Phoenix. "Things will work out for Deandre. He’s a valuable player," Duffy said. "There’s other teams in the league as well. He’s a restricted free agent, so we’ll see how this process unfolds.” JUSTIN TERMINE AND EDDIE JOHNSON/SIRIUSXM NBA RADIO

  11. Aawww...your lickle tummy wummy.
  12. Clear upgrades no doubt - but I'm also looking at the cost and length of these new deals/players in conjunction with the injury concerns.
  13. Its ok to say worth the risk now until we start playing games though. Maybe the injury bug the last 2 years is giving me pause.
  14. Player comps from this past season: https://stathead.com/basketball/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=0&player_id1=bogdabo01&p1yrfrom=2022&player_id2=fournev01&p2yrfrom=2022
