Funny, I'm not a fan of Randle at all. Like Bagley, to me, he's a guy who'll end up with nice numbers at the end of the day (due to hustle) but won't really impact winning. Haha I better @-mention him before that feature mysteriously goes away.

The fact that he doesn't have an agent makes it more impressive how polished he is. I do agree though that he seemed to know exactly what buttons to push and handled things almost too well. I actually agree with both you and @JayBirdHawk on the Porter hip/back thing. However, I'll try to bridge the gap since I think you're both kinda saying the same thing. Doncic is already a bigger 'star' than them, in many respects so that's not a bold statement. However, when I say 'star', I'm referring to winning (at a high level) not marketing. Sorry but he did all that in a league where Edy Tavares can stay on the court and Jan Vesely is elite. It doesn't mean Doncic will bust but .... well, that aspect shouldn't be ignored.

I'm confused when you say 'as a PG'. He's not going to be a PG, he's gonna be a big SF. He'll initiate offense or at least the offense will run through him, however you want to phrase it. But he's not going to be playing "PG" IMHO. Which is probably why I'm not as high on him. I truly see Hedo/Evan Turner which is a serviceable NBA player, just not a star.

He didn't go to the final4, that was Kenny Anderson but your other points are salient. Simply getting an Olympic medal goes a long way for the Naismith folks, doesn't have to be gold. You can't mathematically quantify whether a person will bust/succeed. The fact that they presume to be able to do it is borderline insulting and reinforces why I decide long ago to discontinue consuming their product.

Agreed. Let someone else wait on Bagley to devolve into the short-armed hustle guy I expect him to be. Tim Legler is a huge Porter fan. That's good enough for me. He's down on Young though.

OMFG that is soooo Marvin. On a different note, my favorite NBA analyst Tim Legler just called M Porter a surefire NBA guy, a bucket-getter he expects to be a big-timer. I'm sold. On Young, called him a pure boom/bust guy. Never showed any competitiveness or fire on defense. Not high on him. Thas' all I need.
