  1. Spot on. Would be a great package imo. Dyson is a legit player hawks have had interest in dating back to draft
  2. Haynes first but confirmed the report with my source. Hawks discussions with New Orleans is very real. Not sure New Orleans will meet the price but they do have a boatload of picks to meet it.
  3. Bey and his camp asked for 100 million in the off-season. They were quickly told no and he chose to bet on himself and proceeded to have a pretty bad year. He’s probably a 4/60 player with the hawks if they choose to resign him.
  4. That second is basically a late first. Hawks don’t exactly have the draft capital to part to get him between that late first and multiple seconds line. The guy discussed was AJ but he could be moved elsewhere so
  5. That’s what I heard . It’s also peak silly szn and could just be a leverage from hawks to get a final offer
  6. Heard the hawks and their very first Dejounte suitor are close to a deal. Things could change as they ask for final bids and the other team evaluates if this is the “all in” move they want to pursue for this year but may be headed for a deal
  7. It’s 100% a real dm. I speak with that twitter user a good bit and have known about the DM from the day it was sent. He didn’t release it for any reason other then he was mad his dad put February 8th in his tweet
  8. This is exactly the swap being discussed. Grimes *as currently constructed* slides into the last rotational player taking all Garrison/Wes/Patty minutes
  9. Grimes to ATL gaining a ton of steam
  10. Things can change in a couple days since closer to the deadline is when better offers come in but I think it’s increasingly likely the hawks stand pat next week. Maybe a small move like AJ or Clint but as of right now I think they revisit trades in the summer. Maybe someone overpays next week but at this point in time I think a lot of the roster will stay the same
  11. Im gonna be honest with you guys I had one person tell me hes being traded to a mystery team and thats why he was out and then other tell me that sat him cause of what he did the game prior. I got no clue whats going on with this situation right now.
  12. The dm has been known about for months. Teams have known about his request for weeks. Teams also know about how he acts on social media. This has no bearing on his value just something coming to the public now
  13. Not sourced but its pretty eye opening that Quin was screaming at DJM who went rogue in the fourth quarter on both sides of the ball. Might have reached the sabotage point of the trade request. Things could move quickly
  14. Plenty of teams can outbid the lakers offer. The question is will anybody do so... to this point nobody has really and thats why they waiting. As of now I'd be surprised if someone does but still plenty of time left before the deadline
  15. I didn't see this until now hahahahah. Yes you guys are right I am nick ressler
  16. Oh 100% he has no value. If they are lucky they could potentially flip him for fournier and grimes but that is a big IF. Its a pure shed salary move and hope they can use that space for someone in summer
  17. Doesn’t surprise me one bit. Dinwiddie an expiring and Brooklyn needs players under contract.
  18. Not sourced at all but hawks play the lakers next Tuesday then have two days off till next game. Probably a good chance a deal gets done around then
  19. Honestly I think both would be equally as likely and DJM very well could live past the deadline and be in those talks in summer. But I understand what core piece you saying now. I thought you would have said a young player. For both our sake I hope they land on KAT or someone somehow with either package.
  20. Can you tell me a realistic core asset you think you could get for Murray? Emphasis on realistic. and you realize from previous deals that’s the picks the lakers were left with to deal. Both viewed by the league as great picks. They moved 1 to get off russ and get rotational players to vault them to a run. They gonna do the same with the other asset. You can disagree and are entitled to your opinion but I’m telling you how the league views those assets and it’s highly. A team like the t wolves needs picks (which they themselves done have) to draft those cheap players they need around their core.
  21. Why would Toronto get later picks when the team they are dealing with has picks before that. You’re comparing apples to oranges. not to mention siakam value isn’t good considering he’s an expiring and that’s why they got two horrible 24 picks. The best pick in that deal is 26 which is not looking great for them but class wise is ideal. The picks in 24 aren’t rated highly. Again you guys might not like a 29 pick but gms rate it as a premium asset. Just like they did the lakers 27 pick that they traded last year for Beasley vando and Russell. Toronto insisted on a young player that has huge upside and rj was the salary match. Not sure why you are hyping up a retool when they currently are still bad and need to tank for their pick. Immediate return on Murray does nothing. Picks to facilitate future moves does.
  22. You guys just overrate Murray. Really isn’t much more to it. He’s a top 50-60 player in a guard heavy league. Take your bias out of it. Keep him (you can’t he asked out weeks ago) and continue this cycle of 7-8 seed lose first round. Except they didn’t for years between Kobe and bron and end of Kobe career. Lebron saved em and they’ll be back to fodder when he’s gone
  23. Okay if you guys think the pick is going to be bad (I disagree) the market has it priced as a premium asset. If they move it in the summer for someone anyways why the heck does it matter if it’s good or not. It’s essentially a three team deal just happening a bit later. If the returns of djm get you the star to help you win now who cares about these 2 months. They should have played better and not ended their season half way through
  24. Also it just so happens to be 29 cause that’s the first pick the lakers can move. The further the better for the hawks and any team acquiring it
  25. OG is caa he was always gonna sign with the Knicks why would any other team trade for him and just risk him leaving? Them and lakers didn’t have discussions…comparing two trades when one team doesn’t have to engage and didn’t makes no sense. The hornets just traded for a 27 pick. Fans don’t think long term gms do even if they don’t have security. Every team has a plan you just want win now players for DJM and that doesn’t exist. And won’t exist. If they keep djm what do you think happens? They are not making any run this year. You don’t want win now moves you want win now this season moves and no move is helping this current team
