I'm liking him going back and forth with Kawhi so far.

Kawhi is back in Terminator mode. I'm worried about tonight's game but the West should be worried more.

Gotta get AJ back on track. If the Hawks are going to be cheap, they have to grow from within. There's too much talent there to let it rot on the bench. Last season was not a fluke. It's obvious he needs to be 100% mentally and I think he can only get there by playing and seeing the ball go in the basket a few times. The Hawks need to get him back in the rotation even if it's only for a few minutes a game.

Adding a long athletic wing (yes he's a 6'11"wing right now) that can block shots and hit open threes can only help. He's raw but the tools he has right now can help the Hawks. It's a shame he got hurt.

If these teams are still talking about protected firsts and other trash, I'm not interested.

I hope so. Maybe him overthinking while he was trying to figure things out slowed him down. He has to play with a high motor to be effective.

The question is, can they be consistent? JJ is where he needs to be at this point in his development, but OO needs to be this active every game.

How hard is it to just pass the ball back out after getting the rebound?

I honestly believe he can contribute right now even though he is a Rookie. His ability to knock down threes, catch lobs, and block shots while still being mobile enough to defend on the perimeter at 6'11 would be huge for the Hawks.

This team looks different. I don't want to jinx it, but these past few games remind me of a previous Hawks run after a certain Hawks player got an All Star snub. Eerily similar circumstances.
