The narrative that Trae was holding anyone back on this team was always disingenuous. Every single player brought in to build around Trae has busted, underachieved, or been inconsistent.

What we are seeing now is his floor. I've seen enough this season to confidently say there's no way JJ doesn't end up going to a few ALL Star games during his career.
